[EN/PT-BR] Reliving my first trip: Ilheus in Bahia.

Traveling for many is as necessary as drinking water, but for me it has never been so necessary, despite my wife always telling me “we need to travel” this year. 2024 was the first time I got on a plane and went to a tourist destination, with a beach and sea. I even posted about it on Hive, I spent 9 days in the state of Bahia, more precisely in the region of Ilhéus. It was an incredible experience and I really enjoyed everything that happened during those days, the experiences and everything else.

It was my first real experience of setting foot in an area, with my family and a couple of friends and their children. It was amazing to hear the sound of the ocean, to understand how the sea floods, how it recedes and in the afternoon, almost getting dark, the water almost reached the inn where we were staying, the culinary experiences with shrimp, red and blue crabs, it was all really incredible! The crabs were a surprise, I didn't imagine they would be so sweet and tasty.

Tasting the salty sea water, of course this couldn't be left out to make sure that the water is really salty, does everyone who goes into the sea for the first time do this? Well, I did! It was wonderful to spend this time calmly, away from my cell phone, computer and any work pressure, on my vacation that I had in July of this year. Are you looking forward to the next trip? Of course, yes, and I think we even have our destination ready: the state of Maranhão and maybe we'll be able to see the famous Lençóis Maranhenses, perhaps even known throughout the world.

Traveling is good, I really enjoyed everything I experienced during those days, the tranquility, the company of my friends and family, and with that I realized how necessary it is to do this. We talk so much about disconnecting from the world, from the computer, from the concrete, but if you don't go somewhere like that it's hard to really disconnect, so this trip was more than deserved for me and my wife, given how much we work, how busy we are with work and the lack of time for our children or even rest, this trip restored us on every possible level.

In addition, there is also the added bonus that traveling helps create content for Hive, so many places, news, I made 6 posts if I'm not mistaken and it was sensational, reliving each moment every day again in Ilhéus and Ponta da Tulha, it was wonderful. For all those who don't usually travel, I can say today that it is one of the best things you can do. Leaving home, leaving your bubble, your routine is necessary to clear your head, put your thoughts in order and I am looking forward to the next trip.

If I could change anything on this trip, it would be the flight route. I would have liked it to be direct and without stopovers, so I could enjoy it more, because I found the bureaucracy at the airport quite complicated, because I was with my children and I also found the prices of food and drinks a bit harsh. If I could have changed these two points, it would certainly have been much better, but these are details, nothing that ruins the wonderful trip I had to Bahia.

Viajar para muitos é algo tão necessário quanto beber água, mas para mim nunca foi tão necessário, apesar de que minha esposa vivia me falando “precisarmos viajar”, neste ano de 2024 foi a primeira vez que entrei em um avião e fui para um lugar turístico, com praia e mar. Cheguei a postar isso na Hive, fiquei 9 dias no estado da Bahia, mais precisamente na região de Ilhéus. Foi uma experiência incrível e eu gostei realmente de tudo o que aconteceu nestes dias, as experiências e tudo mais.

Foi a minha primeira e verdadeira experiência de colocar os pés em uma área, com a minha família e um casal de amigos e seus filhos. Sensacional escutar o som do oceano, entender como funciona as cheias do mar, que ele recua e a tarde quase anoitecendo a água quase chegava na pousada onde ficamos, as experiências culinárias com camarão, caranguejos vermelhos e azuis, foi tudo muito incrível! Os caranguejos foram uma surpresa, não imaginava serem tão doces e gostosos.

Experimentar a água salgada do mar, claro isso não poderia faltar para ter certeza de que a água é realmente salgada, será que todo mundo que entra no mar pela primeira vez faz isso? Bem, eu fiz! Foi maravilhoso passar esse tempo com calma, longe do celular, do computador e de qualquer pressão do trabalho, nas minhas férias que tive em julho deste ano. Ansioso para uma próxima viagem? Com certeza sim e acho que até temos o destino pronto: o estado do Maranhão e talvez conseguiremos ver o famoso lençóis maranhenses, talvez conhecidos até mesmo pelo mundo.

Viajar é bom, gostei realmente de tudo o que vivi naqueles dias, a tranquilidade, a companhia de meus amigos e família e com isso percebi como é preciso fazer isso. Falamos tanto de se desligar do mundo, do computador, do concreto, mas se você não for para algum lugar assim é complicado realmente se desligar, então essa viagem foi mais que merecida para mim e minha esposa, do tanto que trabalhamos, o quanto estamos na correria do trabalho e a falta de tempo para os filhos e até mesmo descansar, essa viagem nos restaurou em todos os níveis possíveis.

Além disso, ainda tem o adicional de que viajar ajuda a criar conteúdo para a Hive, tantos lugares, novidades, fiz 6 postagens se não em engano e isso foi sensacional, reviver cada momento cada dia de novo em ilhéus e ponta da tulha, foi maravilhoso. Para todos os que não costumam viajar, posso dizer hoje que é uma das melhores coisas que você pode fazer. Sair de casa, sair da sua bolha, do seu cotidiano é necessário para esfriar a cabeça, colocar os pensamentos no lugar e eu estou ansioso para a próxima viagem.

Se fosse possível mudar algo que fiz nessa viagem, seria apenas o trajeto do avião, gostaria que fosse direto e sem escalas, para conseguir aproveitar mais, pois achei as burocracias do aeroporto bem complicadas, porque estava com meus filhos e achei um pouco sofrido os preços dos alimentos e das bebidas também. Se fosse possível mudar esses 2 pontos com certeza teria sido muito melhor, mas, são detalhes, nada que estraga a viagem maravilhosa que fiz para a Bahia.
