[EN/PT-BR] Enchanting over crime is never a good example.

We live in a society where the right to free expression of ideas is something that must be guaranteed by the state, even if in some countries this is not happening in the best possible way, everyone has the right to express themselves, even if this expression be very different from our point of view. And what do I mean by that? Well, we all have different points of view, but what I cannot agree with is the glorification of crimes and criminals, as has been happening for some time with productions of streamings.

If you stop to think about it, Netflix (this is my target as it is what I usually watch the most) is always releasing documentaries or fantasy films about crimes, or people who have committed horrible crimes, which have certainly done a lot of harm to many families, but, As streaming shows this in its films and series, it seems to generate such great charm that you even forget that the production is talking about a serial killer or someone who killed their own parents. Heavy things that when they go to production, seem be softened or humanized and I can agree with that.

Crime is crime, criminals are criminals and murderers are murderers. We all have a point of view, but I think this type of production hinders more than it helps. It can send a message to the good people, that they have to be careful with things, suspect everything and everyone, take care of their children or family and those things, but, in a world as dystopian as the one we are living in, I think this benefits more who is no longer good than to serve as a warning or something like that for good people.

It's funny that here in Brazil, we have many cases of heroism, normal people who gave their lives to save others, in moving stories, but where is the movie or series about it? they? Ahh, they don't have that, it doesn't get ratings, it doesn't make money, what makes money is precisely what is useless, the charm of bandits who kill parents, children, rapists, thieves, they do have their moment to tell the wonderful story. of their lives, serving as an example for many people, including children, many of whom we know have easy access to streaming apps.

I believe that productions in general that involve crimes should exist, they should be there to show that crime does not pay, that this It's not right for people, but the problem is how some of them are made to make you feel sorry for the wrong person, the monster who caused people pain and suffering. I think everything is a choice, even for evil, you choose to do that or not. We all have the free will to just let it go or do something really bad and it is up to us to choose which would be the best path for what we are living.

I may be dreaming too much, thinking that we will all learn from a good example seen in a movie or series, just as we can all choose right or wrong, but I know that at certain times we cannot think clearly. Anyway, that's my point. From my point of view, I think that productions involving crimes, whether barbaric or not, should be careful with the message they want to convey or with the adaptive changes they want to make. I will always perish believing that crime does not pay, no matter its scale.

Vivemos em uma sociedade onde o direito a livre expressão de suas ideias é algo que deve ser garantido pelo estado, mesmo que em alguns países isso não esteja acontecendo da melhor forma possível, todos têm o direito de ser expressar, mesmo que essa expressão seja bem diferente do nosso ponto de vista. E o que quero dizer com isso? Bem, todos temos pontos de vista diferentes, mas, ao que não consigo compactuar é com a glorificação de crimes e criminosos, como vem acontecendo há algum tempo com produções de streamings.

Se parar para pensar, a Netflix (aqui é o meu alvo ao ser o que mais costumo assistir) está sempre lançando documentários ou filmes fantasiosos sobre crimes, ou pessoas que cometeram crimes horríveis, que com certeza fizeram muito mal para muitas famílias, mas, como o streaming mostra isso em seus filmes e series, parece que gera um encanto tão grande que você até esquece que a produção está falando de um serial killer ou de alguém que matou os próprios pais. Coisas pesadas que quando vão para a produção, parecem ser amenizadas ou humanizadas e eu consigo concordar com isso.

Crime é crime, bandido é bandido e assassinos são assassinos. Todos temos um ponto de vista, mas, acho que esse tipo de produção mais atrapalha do que ajuda. Pode passar uma mensagem para as pessoas de bem, de que elas têm que tomar cuidado com as coisas, suspeitar de tudo e de todos, cuidar de seus filhos ou familiares e essas coisas, mas, em um mundo tão distópico como este que estamos vivendo, acho que isso mais beneficia quem já não presta do que servir como um alerta ou coisa do tipo para as pessoas de bem.

Engraçado que aqui no Brasil, temos muitos casos de heroísmos, pessoas normais que deram suas vidas para salvar outras, em histórias emocionantes, mas, cade o filme ou serie sobre elas? Ahh, isso não têm, não da ibope, não dá dinheiro, o que dá dinheiro é justamente o que não presta, o encanto dos bandidos matadores de pais, crianças, estupradores, ladrões, eles sim têm o seu momento para contar a história maravilhosa de suas vidas, servindo de exemplo para muitas pessoas, inclusive crianças, que sabemos que muitas têm acesso fácil a aplicativos de streaming.

Acredito que produções no geral que envolvam crimes devem existir, devem estar ali para mostrar que o crime não compensa, que esse não é o certo para as pessoas, mas, o problema é como alguma delas são feitas para que você sinta pena da pessoa errada, do monstro que causou a dor e sofrimento nas pessoas. Penso que tudo é uma escolha, até mesmo para o mal, você escolhe fazer aquilo ou não. Todos temos o livre arbítrio de apenas deixar para lá ou fazer algo realmente ruim e depende de nós escolhermos qual seria o melhor caminho para o que estamos vivendo.

Posso estar sendo muito sonhador, pensar que todos aprenderemos com um bom exemplo visto em filme ou série, assim como que todos podemos escolher o certo ou errado, mas, sei que em certos momentos não conseguimos pensar com clareza. Enfim, esse é o meu ponto de vista, acho que as produções que envolvem crimes, sejam bárbaros ou não, devem ter cuidado com a mensagem que querem passar ou com as alterações adaptativas que querem fazer. Perecerei acreditando sempre que o crime não compensa, não importa a sua proporção.
