Small Changes, Big Impact: My Everyday Life Medicine

A few weeks after I returned from where I went for my country's service, I feel sick. And I mean, very sick because there was no day and night in that period I didn't cry because of stomach pains and other malaria and fever symptoms. It was as if everything came at once to take me down ill.

Deep down, I knew my lifestyle had a lot to do with why that happened but on the other side, it was the warning I needed to be more serious and disciplined with my health and the kind of lifestyle I should lead afterwards. I can't even start sharing all I've learned in the past months.

Thanks to my mum, my experience with English doctors, a herbal doctor and my researches because I got tired of all the medications I had to take, I learnt of an easier and better way to live while staying away from medications most of the time unlike before. And I'll share my discoveries.

Meridian Body Lines Therapy

I bet that this may sound new to many because I honestly didn't know such thing existed until I did and it's been a game changer for me since I've been very attentive to it. Do you know acupuncture treatment? If yes, then you'd know how fast it works in reviving a sick or dying one.

The Meridian Body lines are what these treatments focus on, these are passages that your body uses to gather and conserve energy to keep you healthy and even young if they are given attention and utilised. Luckily for me, I came across a video that teaches a therapy to use it.

I've been using this therapy for only a month and some weeks and I can't even explain enough how better my body has recovered since then, the coolest thing is that, the therapy is not strenuous and it's very easy to do. I can share the video if anyone would ask for it, we all do need it really.

Full Body Hydration

Since I learnt a better way to use my body energy to my advantage, I had to learn to feed my body well and keep it hydrated. I'm still struggling to set a balance to this, it's really not easy to do but with the efforts since I started, there has been great differences that keeps me wanting to do it.

Many think of water first for hydration but let's be honest, not many will be faithful to drink water as often as possible to keep hydrated so another way around that is, having meals with good water content, doing less strenuous work that will cause dehydration and of course, drink water too.

This action has helped me in more ways that I even know as it doesn't only keep you away from illness but also keeps your skin healthy and glowing, helps with easy detoxification and your body is free from unnecessary nonsense hehe. "Water is life" an old but hold statement, use it!

Full Body Activity

I know everybody can be busy daily and do not need to be told this but then, let's not overlook whenever we're using a part of our body more than the other parts, it calls for re-adjustment or changing what we are used to. We know our everyday work and the parts we use more or less.

My dad and his constant neck pain have taught me the dangers of making one side of our full body do most of the work for long hours, so I try my best to keep all the parts of my body engaged and if the activity doesn't call for it, I go for exercises and take breaks in between work time.

You don't have to do strenuous work to have a full body activity, a simple walk, deep breaths, talking exercise, doing the dishes and laundry yourself, even cooking can help you in this regard and I try to keep at it. There's so much escape route from English or herbal medication if we would be more willing and consistent to do them.

That neck pain thing is really something else and the main remedy I think would work is stopping the routine you had that has been affecting the neck area and resting the neck more.

Reading this your entry made me know this particular system of yours that has been maintaining your body for you. I know about how important water is for our body system, but I'm not the type that really love drinking water except when I want to it. Yeah, so many people only take water at the time they eat or after eating, I do that too but if you become intentional like setting a reminder for water intake, it will become a part of you.
