Digital Convenience Can’t Replace Every Cash Moment

This prompt question took me back to a time in my country when we had less cash to go around, I can still remember how hard it was to let go of the cash we had at hand and even much harder dad was able to get cash for matters that he needed cash to get done. That time, a lot of people exploited and got exploited because of it.

As much as we are evolving in so many ways, especially digitally, there are just some ways we have to stay as neutral as possible. We can't accept every single change to how we are living, we would slowly lose the essence of an actual living when we do that. The digital world has blessed mankind in many ways but there's limit.

There is limit to how far we should go with it. I was listening to a guy that reminded me just how important it is to write with my hands (on a book) and not with just my fingers (on my phone), he explained how it affects my brain long term. Thankfully, I've understood that but there are still many other aspects the digital life is tampering.

And now, we are considering the possibility of just digital money and no cash, because this is still all a scheme for the world to go digital. We are trying to forget what it means to hold cash with our hands, how easy it is for us to use it when we have it in our pockets and the beautiful feelings we get when we are gifted with cash.

I don't even know how badly it could get or how better it can get when cash are gotten rid of but I've never seen where something that's not balance can stand well enough. Cash is a balance we need for a good flow of currency alongside digital cash, it simply makes things easy. I welcome both forms of payment anytime.

Personally, I almost do not carry cash around but there are days I must carry cash and that's for transportation, giving alms and a few other reasons. Even if it's left for me alone to decide, that I can't relate with how others might really need the cash, I still won't agree to a cashless payment. Cash is faster in the times digital isn't.

I mean, how do you start paying with transfers for transportation when it's not an Uber or special ride, and not everybody can afford that. How do you buy from a market woman, especially the older ones when they always prefer to see the money on their hand to confirm a sale has happened? A cashless time seem impossible.

Like it will make lives way more difficult because there will be less demand of supplies and a lot of people will be out of business. Even if there is enough awareness for people to transition into digital cash, there will still be problems for the simple minds who just want to hold cash and buy or make sales. Personally, it will affect some parts of my life in how easily it helps sometimes.
