Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you are having a great time?
This isn't just another earring, but this represents my kind of mindset into the new year and beyond.
My last year ends on such a high and positive note, and that is what I'm carrying with me throughout this year. Staying in love, remaining in my positive energy and great vibes. Because sometimes while we have no control over the things that happen to us, we can always choose how to react. I do tell people there is an advantage in every disadvantage; you have to remove the dis and hehe
On the first of this year, someone very close to me did something really upsetting, but instead of getting mad, going crazy, and even doing something I will later regret to her, I simply got up off my couch, picked up some seeds bead and start to put all that range and energy into creating this beauty. A beaded fringe with two hearts shapes. I beaded one of the earrings that day, and today, I finished the second one to be shared with you as my participation in the #creativesunday initiative.
This is to remind myself that I have a choice about how I choose to feel or react to the things that happen to me. That is right; whatever comes your way this year, do not let anything get in your head and ruin your positive vibes. Stay in charge and choose how you want to feel or react, and that is how we win, baby!
So guys, join me while I work you through my latest earrings creation in today's creative Sunday.
Materials used:
✓ size one seed bead, color red and blue
✓ size 0.25 fishline
✓ earrings hooks
✓ scissors
✓ pliers
Method:
I used a double-stick bricks method. It's a method where you start your stitches with four beads and continue to use two beads until the line ends.
Step-by-step process:
The task was to create two heart shapes using a double bricks stitch method.
Step 1:
I started by threading a 140 cm fishline on my needle, leaving 40 cm on the tail and stitching 15 beads on it. With the blue and the red beads appropriately as shown below.
Step 2:
Starting with four blue beads on the second bead line, I continue to build it upward.
Step 3:
I continue to build upward, and here, the heart shape is taking a nice form.
Step 4:
Using only the blue beads this time around, I continue to build the upper part of the earrings.
Step 5:
Here, I reintroduce red beads to start building the second shape of the heart.
Step 6:
I continue building the second heart shape with blue and red beads.
Step 7:
As you can see here, I'm closing off the second heart shape with blue and red beads.
Step 8:
I rounded up the upper part of the triangle with blue beads and then put the earring hook. I passed my remaining fishline around until I was certain the work was secured. I then trimmed off the excess fishline.
Aww, look at the love shapes taking a beautiful form.
Step 9:
Here I did the fringe of the earrings by inserting my remaining fishline tails into the needle and putting 12 blue, 1 red, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 blue, and 4 red beads, followed by ignoring the last red bead, passing the needle through the remaining beads, and letting it come out on the last two beads on the main beads. And lastly, I brought my needle out on the last-second beads on the main beads.
This process might look simple in the picture, but 'oh boy,' counting these tiny beads on my needle takes a little bit of patience.
Step 10:
I repeated step 9 above, but this time, I increased the first blue beads to 14.
Step 11:
I still repeated step 9 above but increased the first blue beads by 2.
Step 12:
I repeated step 9 above, but this time, I added 1 red bead to the fishline first, followed by 18 blue beads, 1 red, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 blue, and four red beads. I continued this step by increasing the first red by one and the first blue by two in the next fringe until I made the 8th fringe. Can you see the heart shape coming alive?❤️
Step 13:
To make the remaining part of the fringe, I repeated steps 9 to 12 above in a reverse method.
And we have a heart fringe complete.
And I just went ahead and made the second one of the earrings. What do you think? I hope you like it.😊
As usual, It was fun making this and sharing it with you once again; thank you so much for your time. Stay positive and spread good vibes. 😊 ❣️
All images are mine.
These beaded heart fringe earrings are a beautiful reminder of channeling energy into creativity, especially in tough moments. The detailed step-by-step process is impressive, and the final product reflects not just technical skill but a positive, mindful approach to challenges. It’s inspiring to see how you transformed a potentially upsetting situation into something so lovely. Great work!
Thank you so much, it's of no use wasting my energy on unproductive things hehe. So, I learn to use it for something positive instead, and it came out beautifully. !LUV

Thank you very much 🙏
I agree with you, we do have a choice on how we choose to react to different situations and am glad you chose a better way.
The eye rings are beautiful, am already imagining the outfit that would go with them.
Well done 👍
That is true, and I agree.
I do not have an outfit for it yet hehe; I guess that will come along later.
Thank you very much, have a pleasant Sunday !LUV
