Difficult but achievable

The learning process is never an easy one. A lot of times, we have to stretch beyond our capacity so as to meet up with whatever we want to grasp.

I am the type that always puts her mind to learn no matter how difficult it may be cause I have come to understand that to climb up to the ladder, you don't jump at once, but take it step by step that's why I never say no to learning. It was never so from the beginning when it comes to taking responsibility because back then I always run from it because I never wanted to stress myself just give me a simple task to do and am good to go. So in SS1 I joined the art class instead of commercial class. I thought about how I would encounter calculation upon calculations when I finally went for that path at the university and I was not willing to do it.

Although I was doing good in art but for every time, my attention was never in the class or let me say I only read to pass exams and nothing more. Fast forward to the second term, I changed to the commercial class. It wasn't easy but there was peace within me and I knew this is where I am supposed to be.

I knew what I signed up for switching from Art to commercial. Today I am in the higher institution studying accounting I was once running from. Now this is it, here in the university, there are hurdles, that I begin to ask myself several questions. There was no time for a joke and I knew it was not time to ask questions but to take actions. Currently in my first year and two courses are a thorn in my flesh. If I keep seeing them as a problem, then it will be a problem. I needed to pay more attention to the course, attend tutorials and do a lot of studying for these two courses because carryover or spillover is not an option.

Literally the two courses deal with numbers and this I don't like but I forced myself to love it. I put in extra work like earlier mentioned such as going for tutorials. It helped me gain a better understanding of both courses. My time went into it also because there is no learning with us devoting our time to it and sometimes finance too because we had to at least appreciate the people that took their time to come tutor us. Now I realize what I am scared of is not so difficult. Today I have mastered these courses and am falling in love with them. it is only difficult when you refuse to put in effort and time otherwise it is achievable.
