Not Just Farming, But Building A System That Works

Hello Community.

So let's say I'm standing in front of investors and I just have a few minutes for them to beg on me,here's what I will tell them ... So it's not going to be about blowing big grammes or whatsnot, I will just go straight to the point..

So if you are investing in me,you are not just investing in an idea, you are actually investing in someone that the problem from the ground Up*

And it's simply AGRICULTURE, Agriculture is not just some kind of industry to me, or another industry to me, Asin everything we use in our daily life just traces back to it , the food we eat, cloth we wear, even materials like rubber and leather, it is one things we as humans cannot escape from in this life, and exactly the reason why I choose to be part of that world, I just didn't wake one morning and choose agriculture just because it sounds very profitable, no..., it's just something that I have been around with since I was little, my grandparents had a farm and I remember how I always wanted to be around there, holding cutlass, helping out the way I could, yes I wasn't fancy but it made me understand that it was something that was and is Important, than comfort... It actually gave me alit of understanding.

Right now ,I know I am still in that process of learning, because I won't come out and say that I actually know it all,which is not true at all, I'm actually not going to stay and think that everything about it is what I know, like I have it all figured out ,yes I have made mistakes, I will still make more,but what matters here is that I don't quit, a Nigerian saying says " Na who gives up , fuck up". Consistency is one of my biggest strengths ever.

I will tell them this.... " I don't see problems, noo, I think about solutions" so like one major issue with agriculture today is the gap between farmers and the consumers, farmers do alot of the hard work, but the middle men take alot of the chunk of the profit, and on another hand consumers still end up buying at normal price ,this way both sides are losing in different ways, so this is where my idea of "Farmwise" comes, I'm sure I must have mentioned this in a different post , but then this prompt from hive learners talks about talking to Investors, and this is what I will bring for the table for investment.

So Farmwise isn't just an app,it is a bridge, a system where farmers can directly list their farm produce like eggs, vegetables,fruits, fish, etc and consumers can directly buy from them without any kind of unnecessary stress whatever, fresh food,better prices, and more profit to go directly to the farmers, so it's a simple idea but it carries weight in alot of areas which I just mentioned, now, I’m also very aware of where agriculture is heading, mechanization and technology, machines and even AI are already changing how farming works, it is faster, more efficient, and helps farmers produce more with less stress but then to be real here, it is not very perfect.

Why because machiness are expensive, and not many farmers can afford,some workers lose their job as a result of this,and then there’s the environmental side of things like emissions, so I'm not coming in blindly excited about tech, I'm coming from balance because I understand both the risk and the advantages, and that helps make better decisions.

What I actually need from investors isn't just money but also smart support.

I need funding to properly build and launch FarmWise.... from development to the logistics like delivery systems, I also do need mentorship, people who understand scaling and building sustainable systems, and yes I need partnerships that can help this grow beyond just an idea and into something that actually changes lives, because at the end of the day, this is bigger than me.

Yeah you can say this is about making food more Accessible,and farming to be more profitable,a system that works for both farmers and consumers, so investing in me means investing in resilience, investing in real experience,and a vision that is rooted in something the world cannot do without ...... agriculture.
