If a gun was placed to my head and I was told to list the things I am most grateful for right now in my life, what would they be?

We humans can be selfish. We often focus on what we don’t have and forget the things we have achieved that many others don't have.

There are so many things I am grateful for in life.

First of all, my family.

I was born into a family of six, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. I am the lastborn, and one thing I love about my family is the bond we share. We protect each other, and one person’s problem becomes everyone’s problem. Yes, we fight, but it never lasts long. I am so happy for the siblings God gave me; they are the best. If I were to die and be reborn, I would still choose them as my siblings… but this time, everyone should be financially okay.

The second thing I am grateful for is my health.

We don’t know the value of what we have until we lose it. There are many people in hospitals battling cancer. Some are dealing with liver and kidney failure. Some cannot breathe on their own and spend huge amounts daily just to stay alive. And here I am, breathing free oxygen, with my kidneys and liver working perfectly, my heart beating normally. This alone is worth deep gratitude, because there is someone out there who would trade all their wealth for good health. Nothing beats good health.

There is a saying that a man will leave his family to create his own, and that is the third thing I am grateful for.

I am grateful to God for giving me a beautiful wife and a handsome child. Beauty means nothing without good character. I didn’t spend days fasting in church for a good wife; it just happened, and I am truly grateful to God for that.

Another thing I am grateful for is the unexpected blessings.

The online world has been a great blessing to many of us. We have been able to achieve things we never imagined. I was able to build myself, build a home, build a family, and build my future, all thanks to cryptocurrency.

There is also a saying that we should be thankful for bad times because they teach us about life and make us stronger.

Things are not looking so good right now, with the crypto market down. Many of us have lost jobs. Many are struggling with the economy. Many are fighting silent battles unknown to others. But tough times don’t last, and they help us appreciate the good times.

Everything will be alright, sooner or later… as long as we are alive and healthy.
