Luck follows work!

How often do we look to the side and think about how lucky someone we know is? This happens mainly when we don't see the effort that person put in to get to where they are. Many people can look at our lives and think we're lucky too because, as they say, "the grass is always greener on the other side." However, only we know how much we have to work and sacrifice at some point to achieve a certain balance in some aspect of life.

This behavior is something that piques my curiosity. Why do we compare ourselves? Why do we overestimate other people's lives instead of focusing on our own life and goals? I don't have answers to these questions, but what I do know is that every human being has this tendency, unless they are already very experienced and enlightened; they will always be comparing.

"Look at how hard I work, and that guy earns more than me without much effort!" Many of us must have thought that way. The Hive, honestly, seems to be a great field of observation for how our minds work. You've probably come across poorly made content, badly written text, seen huge upvotes, and thought, "It doesn't seem fair that this person is so lucky while I, who put in effort, don't have that."

But the truth is, we don't know. It might be that if someone doesn't write very well, no matter how hard they try, they excel at networking with the right people. If someone who doesn't produce content well, does good networking and gets good votes on their posts, did they work hard or were they lucky? What do you think?

I think there are many ways to grow on the Hive, and undoubtedly the main one is having the ability to choose and connect with the right people from the right communities. But if your greatest skill is not making friends but writing good texts, as is my case, maybe your work is a bit different from those who are better at socializing.

I consider myself lucky in real life. I have an amazing family, for which I am very grateful. My husband is a truly good man and an excellent father. Moreover, I've been working online for 3 years, a job that allows me to spend more time with my daughter. I still have a lot to achieve financially, but it will require a lot of hard work because the luck I had was getting my first marketing clients; the hard work is about keeping them and seeking more clients.

I believe that luck is always tied to hard work. It's by working that sudden opportunities appear, and you realize how lucky you were to be in the right place at the right time. Even if you win the lottery, you have to go out there and try; luck follows movement. That's the conclusion I reach. So the more you move towards something specific, the more luck you'll have.

Returning to using the Hive as an example, I know that if I keep moving here, my lucky break will come eventually. The key is not to give up and keep working and producing content as consistently as possible. Because luck depends on movement, luck depends on work.

Quantas vezes olhamos para o lado e pensamos o quanto alguém que conhecemos tem sorte. Isso acontece principalmente quando não vemos o esforço que essa pessoa fez para estar onde está. Muitas pessoas podem olhar para nossas vidas e pensar que temos sorte também, afinal, é como dizem ‘’A grama do vizinho é sempre mais verde’’. Porém, só nós sabemos o quanto temos que trabalhar e nos sacrificar em certo ponto, para alcançar determinado equilíbrio em algum aspecto da vida.

Esse comportamento é algo que me causa uma certa curiosidade; porque nos comparamos? Porque superestimamos a vida de outras pessoas em vez de focar em nossa própria vida e objetivos? Eu não tenho respostas para isso, mas o que sei é que todo ser humano tem essa tendência, a não ser que seja uma pessoa já muito vivida e iluminada, ela sempre estará se comparando.

‘’Olha o quanto eu trabalho, e o quanto aquele cara ganha mais do que eu sem fazer muito esforço!’’ Muitos de nós já devem ter pensado assim. A Hive, sinceramente, me parece ser um ótimo campo de observação para como nossa mente funciona. Com certeza você já se deparou com um conteúdo mal feito, um texto mal escrito, viu votos enormes e pensou; ‘’Não me parece justo que essa pessoa tenha tanta sorte, enquanto eu que me esforço não tenho.’’

Mas, a verdade é que não sabemos. Pode ser que se uma pessoa não escreve muito bem, por mais que se esforce, mas seja excelente em fazer networking com as pessoas certas. Se alguém que não produz conteúdo muito bem, faz um bom networking e ganha bons votos em seus posts, por isso, ela trabalhou duro ou teve sorte? O que você pensa?

Eu penso que há muitas formas de crescer na Hive, e sem dúvida a principal é ter a habilidade de escolher e se relacionar com as pessoas certas, das comunidades certas. Mas, se sua maior habilidade não for fazer amigos e sim escrever bons textos, que é o meu caso, talvez o seu trabalho seja um pouco diferente daqueles que têm mais facilidade em conversar.

Eu considero que tenho alguma sorte na vida real. Eu tenho uma família incrível, pelo qual sou muito grata. Meu esposo é um homem verdadeiramente bom e um excelente pai. Além disso, trabalho online há 3 anos, é um trabalho que me permite ter mais tempo com minha filha. Eu ainda tenho muito a conquistar financeiramente, mas isso exigirá muito trabalho duro, pois a sorte que eu tive foi conseguir meus primeiros clientes de marketing, o trabalho duro se trata de manter e correr atrás de mais clientes.

Eu acredito que a sorte está sempre aliada ao trabalho. É trabalhando que as oportunidades repentinas aparecem, e você se dá conta do quanto foi sortudo em estar no lugar certo e na hora certa. Mesmo se você ganhar na loteria, você precisa ir lá tentar; a sorte segue o movimento. Essa é a conclusão que chego. Então quanto mais você se movimentar em relação a algo específico, mais sorte você terá.

Voltando a usar a Hive como um exemplo, eu sei que se continuar me movimentando aqui, uma hora meu momento de sorte chegará. O importante é não desistir e continuar trabalhando e produzindo conteúdo o mais constante possível. Pois a sorte depende do movimento, a sorte depende do trabalho.
