LOOKED TOO GOOD BUT TOOK BITTERED TEARS

Scam activities is so rampant and so common nowadays that it now feels like a standard profession to the people doing it. Having a clear conscience in reaping from where they did not sow and ripping off people's hard earned money from struggles and sweats that cease not to stop when they are at work.

I've seen and heard about some people being scammed and they could not recover from the consequences of their decisions till date. Yes I said "consequences of their decisions" because most of these scam activities are actually happening with our full consent even though we are unaware of the scam intentions. Sometimes it happens due to our desire of wanting more normally while sometimes it's basically because of the greediness to want more at a less-effort or resources spent that makes us ignore the red flags of such scam until reality dawns on us.

Some businesses are too good to be real at the point of proposal or pitching. Some opportunities are way too perfect when been introduced to us but we chose to look away and sometimes it may not really be our fault for thinking it can look too good and still be real because life is all about taking risk.

I've once been a victim of scam and I've experienced close people fall into the trap of scam unknowingly and even though mine was a bit much in amount to be lost to scammers which I found painful because I was able to know on time before they packed off that it was a scam activity but unfortunately I could do nothing till their purchased domain crashed. There's nothing painful as watching your money sink and you could do absolute nothing about it.

However, I found this particular scam activity that a close person fell for to be very painful because of the situation around it. Painful more than mine that I have to choose to talk about it than mine because I actually took out of what I had to subscribe for scam but she used everything she had because she wanted to start a new life.

It was supposed to be about business. An importation business at that, where she get to sell varieties of things like unisex clothes, home utensils and stuffs like that and she was willing to make this a permanent business means for herself. She was sure things would go well when she starts big due to the contacts she has and this is why she had to use all resources she had at her disposal.

If only she had known. If only an hint had surfaced for her to find the agent suspicious but no, these people are always good at what they do.
What perfect comfort words will you give someone who's looking at her life totally wrecked than giving her the money back but unfortunately, you can't.

Was she able to handle it? Partially yes, with love and support from family and friends to scale through that period but was she able to recover it, hell NO.
It was like a drop of water into an ocean that can never be seen let alone retrieved.

Scam activities ruin people and have cost some people their lives as well and it's so painful that despite it been a miserable act to people, it keeps increasing in our society day by day with people still falling as victims.

We have to stay cautioned, careful and probably discuss any new opportunity with more learned people before venturing into it and probably with little for a start and not putting all eggs in the basket.
