Unforgeable memory of my fondest holiday.

Hello friends welcome back to my blog. This is your special friend @adaezeinchrist coming your way again to talk about what I think is the fondest holiday memory that I have had and which has made an impact in me that I can not forget in a haste.

Week 93:- Edition 02, has a very special topic- Your Fondest Holiday Memories

The image belongs to me.

*What's that holiday you'll always remember for the rest of your life? It could be as recent as last year, or as far back as your childhood. Yet you still remember all about it.

I have had lots of holidays all my life but there is this holiday memory that has left me with a special mark in my life that each time that I remember is I feel like crying or screaming. Even though is not funny but for me is kind of funny because I am remembering it now with tears of joy in my heart.

It happened four years ago when we were preparing for the new year celebration after a very special Christmas with my family. My kids love going to a program that is organized by peace house revival labour here in Nasarawa state. It starts on the 28th of every December to end on the 31st of December. So, for that year everyone of them left me and went for the program. I sat at home the first day that they left and was really tired of staying at home as from the following day. After my breakfast in the morning I decided to go out to see a few friends around my city just to chill out with them for some hours and get back home before it will be dark. As I pick up my shoes to wear them I discovered that it has applied and needed to be repaired. I looked up every where I took the shoes to go and repair. On my way going out I made sure that every where was properly looked.

The repair took about forty minutes and then I came back home to prepare to go for my outing. I was shocked when I got closer to my house when I noticed that the front door was opened and the padlock was broken and thrown on the floor. I asked who was inside but no one answered me. I moved closer and asked again. All that I heard was silent. When I finally came closer to the door and went in I discovered that my house was turned upside down. I looked around and saw no one. I quickly ran out to see if there was anyone close to the house, but there was no one.

It became clear to me that thieves came into the house and made away with all my valuables: they took away our two laptops, one big camera and two small ones. They also took my traveling bag and put everything inside before going out with them so that no one can easily noticed what they were carrying.

What makes that holiday so special?
Yes it left a mark on me. We practically entered into the new year with nothing at all. No computer to do my typing and printing for my customers. No cameras to use when we are asked to cover an event.
To God be the glory because even that which was not possible with men is possible with God.

That was quite a sad experience. Thieves usually target periods like this, especially when unsuspecting residents would be out visiting.

I'm sure you've recovered and better days ahead
