As there are some planning in motion, I've been strolling through my Italian photo folders and I bumped upon few photos from the Spanish Steps in Rome.
Those really put a smile on my face, of course, with a bit of a sadness and I have to admit, also with gratitude.
As some of you may know, it is prohibited to sit on the Steps, since a couple of years.
I hear the fine is EUR 400 but could've been "updated" already, I don't know for sure.
I think it was a bit of a ritual back then, to spend a few moments a sit on a step. Now, no more, and I fully understand the concerns but as we use to say here, behind every decision there is a beautiful reason and a true one.
Although, I bet there are many reasons behind that relatively new law.
Photography, a true time machine, on a separate note, isn't it? ;)
