SUNDAY REFLECTIONS

It was a beautiful Sunday like most Sundays but today was a bit easy going than usual. I woke up a bit late and I had to write my post for the day (I didn’t really expect to write a second post but..). It took me less than an hour to start and finish my post and then I went ahead to prepare for worship! Due to the fact that I woke up a little bit late I also almost got to the church auditorium late but I was about 5 minutes earlier, hehe.

The teaching was about embracing the Cross and it had different messages just for anyone who listened. It’s always easy to listen but the work is in putting to action what we have learnt. Anyways, I learnt something new from that teaching and I pray I don’t be the hearer only but also the doer of the words I have heard.

After the teaching, as it’s the custom of the church, we also had someone take us on a sermon to admonish ourselves. The sermon was short but filled with so much wisdom. We were taught about the seeds, sow and time. The lessons learned are particularly how to make haste while it is still day. How to always act early and not wait until it’s late before we to do what we ought to do or else we would only end up having regrets that we should have done better and more if we had started earlier.

After church was over, I stayed back for a mock exam organized by a the church for students who offers a particular course. This is because that particular course is a course written by every student in both first and second year in school. I wasn’t so confident about the exam because I wasn’t really prepared for it but I wrote it anyways so I can at least have an idea of how the exam will be like. Even though I didn’t really study for that exam, I saw some familiar questions that were easy to answer, thanks to my high school knowledge.

Well, well, after the exam, I went out to take some pictures of my friends and also took some pictures of myself too before heading home. When I got home, I relaxed for about 2 hours then I went out to visit one of the persons I took a photo of since I promised to visit and she promised to host me.

On my way to her place, the sun was shining really bright and it was hot too. Regardless of how hot the sun was, I was still drawn by the nice view so I took some pictures of it. I tried to also take a picture of myself but I don’t know, I was a bit shy because I was looking somehow, good though.

I finally got to her place and it was really nice spending time there. She had others who came around to visit her too so it made it merrier, hehe. She entertained us with a lot of things to eat and also with some good music playing from the background. She was happy to have us visit and it was even more of a pleasure for us too!

She is a perfume vendor so I also used that medium to patronize her business. I got two perfumes from her and they smell really nice. Spending time at her place was the second highlight of my day. When I got back home, I rested a bit and then I had to revise my books for my test tomorrow.

In summary, I’ll say I had a great day and I’m so happy of how today turned out for me. I know these days don’t happen every day so I’m just going to cherish this moment. And also, it’s a new week so I want to wish you all a pleasant week ahead. ❤️
