when the family will gather to enjoy a delicious barbecue, which I'm already preparing, I want to tell you that today's lunch will be light. It consists of lentil burgers, sweet potato puree, boiled noodles, and boiled squash. To prepare the burgers, we soak the lentils overnight in water, then boil them thoroughly, drain the water, and mash them as if making puree.
We add garlic powder, salt to taste, a little grated carrot, breadcrumbs, sautéed red onion, and self-rising flour. We knead it like pizza dough, then shape it into a burger. Once cooked, it will look like the photo. Next, we boil the sweet potato and squash. Once cooked, we drain them, mash the sweet potato, add a little butter and salt to taste, and then... We cut the pumpkin into pieces, not too small, and you can make it into a puree according to your taste.
To cook the noodles, which on this occasion are egg spaghetti, we add a pot of water to the stovetop. When it starts to boil, we add a little oil and then add the noodles, stirring slowly to prevent lumps from forming. When the noodles are al dente, we drain them, add them to a bowl, and pour in a little olive oil, which gives them a very special flavor, making everything delicious.
