Onitsuka Tiger

Onitsuka Tiger is a popular Japanese shoe brand. It's the predecessor of Asics Tiger known for sports themed shoes. In contrast Onitsuka is known as a fashion and lifestyle shoes. You can see it from the design. It's rubber shoes but the materials are premium leather. The yellow and black is popular for being worn by The Bride in Kill Bill. The yellow and black design is a homage to Bruce Lee which has similar color combination to the attire he wore in Game of Death. I often see the yellow and black design worn by people. In fact, the guy in the first photo entering the store is wearing one!

We went to an Onitsuka shop in Japan but it was packed and the queue was long (last photo). There is one branch in our country in BGC with less customers but they only carry a few stocks, one pair for each size and design.
