A Little Dressed Up and Feeling Pretty 🖤✨

Sometimes it's nice to trade my everyday clothes for something a little more elegant. And today was definitely one of those days! 💕

I don't get dressed up like this very often, so whenever I have the chance, I try to enjoy it. I chose a black strapless top and a long gray skirt with a slit on the side. I wasn't completely sure about the combination at first, but after looking in the mirror a few times, I decided I really liked it.

Of course, I had to take a picture before leaving. Haha! 📸

I think the funniest part of getting ready is how much time I can spend deciding what to wear, only to end up choosing something simple. I tried fixing my hair in different ways, but eventually I just left it straight and loose, which is how I usually like it.

Being a preschool teacher means my everyday outfits are usually much more practical. I spend my mornings moving around the classroom, helping children with their activities, sitting on little chairs, and making sure nobody gets too creative with the paint. 😂

So wearing a long skirt and feeling a little fancy is a nice change from my usual routine.

But I also love that I don't have to be the same version of myself every day.

Sometimes I'm the teacher who sings children's songs and gets excited when her students finally learn something new. Other times I'm just Frida, a 23-year-old girl who enjoys getting ready, taking pictures, and spending time with the people she loves.

Both sides are equally important to me. ❤️

I have to admit that I felt a little shy posing for this picture. I'm much more comfortable taking selfies than standing in front of someone else's camera. I never know exactly what to do with my hands or how to stand naturally!

But I think that's part of what makes these pictures special. They don't have to look like something from a fashion magazine. They're simply little memories of ordinary moments in my life.

And honestly, I like that.

I'm still learning to feel confident in my own style without worrying too much about what other people might think. Some outfits work better than others, and sometimes I look back at old pictures and laugh at my fashion choices. 😅

But that's part of growing up, right? Trying new things, discovering what makes you feel comfortable, and enjoying yourself along the way.

For today, I'm happy with my outfit, my long hair, and this little picture before heading out.

Nothing too glamorous, just a girl enjoying the opportunity to feel a little extra pretty. 🖤✨

And now I just hope I can walk around comfortably in this long skirt without stepping on it! 😂💕
