The poor children in the street of kano

It baffles me each day i see the poor children roaming In the street of kano suffering and begging for food to survive for the day in which many of them look so dirty and unkept just to make sure they struggle to eat for the day.

No doubt that we see people begging for alms each day that passes but base on my research it is common in the northern part of Nigeria, where you will definitely see people begging just to survive and looking at it most of them are male children that you will see begging for food which has already become a daily routine.

I ask a friend of mine who happens to be a Hausa friend told me that those children are called almajaris and most of them came from different part of the northern state to reside here. Though, there is where they gather to spend the night but not all of them stay in that place because some still sleep outside in the street and I always feel unhappy seeing this happen.

I went out to go and submit an assignment which in that process I decided to take capture of them in different places because they are everywhere around the state. You will always see them with plate begging for food going to each houses to do that. Along the way I noticed this children looking so hungry and unhappy so I decided to give them something to feed on and in that process they were all happy which is the last picture I took in this post and they were praising me in their dialect but lol I don't understand what they were saying but I know they were praying and thanking me for what I did because I put smile on their faces despite what I gave them was little they were happy.
