At the end of last year, when Hive was still trading at around $0.15, I made some withdrawals. This allowed me to pay some bills and buy a new laptop, or rather, pay for part of it.

In October, I bought an Acer V15 Nitro, with 512 GB, 16 GB of RAM, and an RTX 4050 graphics card, for around $1,000. Here in Brazil, because of taxes, electronics that cost three times less abroad end up costing an arm and a leg. Even so, I took advantage of a promotion and, with the net balance I had in Hive, I was able to pay for almost half of the laptop.

I was very happy with this purchase because the laptop I used before crashed a lot when running the programs I need to use.

The other day, talking to a friend from Hive, I decided to add up everything I withdrew throughout 2025 — a year that was not good for cryptocurrencies, as we were in a strong downward trend. Even so, I managed to withdraw about $2,000.

This makes me very happy because I turned these amounts into real things that now give me more security, such as the laptop and the tiles on the facade of my house.

For all this, I am grateful to Hive.

No final do ano passado, quando a Hive ainda estava cotada em cerca de $0.15, fiz algumas retiradas. Isso me permitiu pagar algumas contas e comprar um notebook novo, na verdade, pagar parte dele.

No mês de outubro comprei um Acer V15 Nitro, com 512 GB, 16 GB de memória RAM e placa de vídeo RTX 4050, por cerca de $1000. Aqui no Brasil, por causa dos impostos, eletrônicos que custam três vezes menos no exterior acabam valendo um rim. Mesmo assim, aproveitei uma promoção e, com o saldo líquido que eu tinha na Hive, consegui pagar quase metade do notebook.

Fiquei muito feliz com essa aquisição, porque o notebook que eu usava antes travava bastante nos programas que preciso utilizar.

Esses dias, conversando com um amigo da Hive, resolvi somar tudo o que saquei ao longo de 2025 — um ano que não foi bom para as criptomoedas, já que estávamos em um movimento forte de queda. Mesmo assim, consegui retirar cerca de $2000.

Isso me deixa muito satisfeito, porque transformei esses valores em coisas reais, que hoje me trazem mais segurança, como o notebook e as cerâmicas da fachada da minha casa.
