My Week in Review for May 3, 2025, More Strong Progress!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and I do hope you are off of work. This has been a pretty good week for both Bitcoin and Hive overall. Bitcoin has been slowly pushing upward the past couple of days and I'm hoping to see a big push through $100,000 again in the near future.
Hive has been showing some nice stability right around $0.25 this week until yesterday when there was a nice, strong push by someone (likely the Koreans) up to $0.29. Had you caught that peak you could have cashed in and made some nice money. I was of course asleep at the time as always... So far it is maintaining strength above $0.26, let's see if it will hold on or drift back down to the $0.25 level. I'm very happy seeing Hive hold it's own and not drifting back down into the teens!

It's Saturday again which means my post today will be a Saturday Savers post. I joined the group a little under a year ago to help me delineate my Hive goals a little better and to achieve them. I've found that reviewing my progress weekly really has helped me to not only achieve the goals faster but grow my account more as well. I would recommend it to anyone looking to maximize their growth here on Hive!
Let's get started!
Hive Power
This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP.
Current HP: 8,042 (80.8%) complete
Goal HP: 10,000
I increased my HP by 184 this week in part to powering up 50 HP on Hive Power Up Day. If feels great to be in the 8K HP club, but I still have a ways to go to 10K. I should be able to make it fairly quickly as I plan to buy up some Hive every week to push things along faster. I may be able to make it to 12,000 this year if I'm lucky, but but 10,000 comes first!
PIMP
Reaching 50,000 staked PIMP was my secondary goal on the year. Last week I completed this goal and will continue to pile on some more PIMP on the stack form tips and post earnings.

Having completed this goal will allow me to focus on getting my HP to 10K faster as well as invest in some other projects.
DUO
Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day as well. For those who stake 500 you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well. Not a bad deal!
My current holdings:

Goal: I don't have a set goal, but I'm purchasing more two or three times a week. I'm up 119 in this past week which was a great week. I wouldn't mind hitting 2,000 this year though. However, I give some away in my weekly giveaway on Sunday which pulls it down by seven a week. I then buy some right back! The @duo-curator account already has more that 42,283 HP and is growing daily. I'm focusing on picking up more DUO before the current tranche runs out, and it's starting to run low with only 6,350 left. The next tranche will be selling at 1.5 Hive each instead of the current 1 Hive price.
90% of all earnings from curations, posts, and tips are paid out in the form of dividends, the remaining 10% is permanently powered up. All revenue from token sales is permanently powered up and will never be powered down. That way our curations and dividends will only get better and we can also help new onboards here on Hive.

UNICOIN
This is a new entry into my Saturday Savers. My good friend @cryptounicorn420 has put together a new token. I mentioned this in my tipping token post a couple days back, but if you missed it I'll catch you up. By delegating HP to @uni-coin you are able to tip an author's content by using the call !UNI or !UNICOIN. The tip amount is 0.0025 UNICOIN, and in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well. It pays to give!
At the moment it's in testing phase, so tips are based on the number of UNICOIN you hold, but early next week it will switch to delegation. It's fun to have a new tipping token out there! Once you have a full UNICOIN it can be exchanged for an HSBI unit, and you can never have too many of those!

DBOND, DAB, and RUG
I have been invested in this project since it's inception. I currently hold:
DBOND: 305
DAB: 61.6
RUG: 25
By staking your DBOND tokens it generates DAB tokens. DAB can be either staked to produce more DBOND or unstaked and then it pays you in daily liquid Hive. I personally stake mine to build up my DBOND levels and produce more DAB.
RUG was a newer project, and despite the name is a solid project. It invests outside of Hive, imports the profits and pays out in the the form of DBOND. I've only recently started to buy some as these as it launched about the same time as we were starting DUO. I do have a buy order in on this one and at a price I feel is fair. We shall see if anyone wants to sell to me at my buy price!
EDSI
EDSI has been one I've been chipping away at this year, although not a primary or even secondary goal. Here's my total so far this year:
EDSI: 125
Soft goal is to make it to 200, I picked up a couple today. If I find some good deals I'll be picking them up a little faster now that am done with my PIMP goal. These are great because they not only provide curation after 100 held but pay a weekly liquid Hive dividend as well.
CCD
I continue to hold my CCD and still have a soft goal to reach one million. This project looks to have a bright future!

This project was created by @powerpaul who has been building the @cryptocompany for three years now. The in game currency is the CryptoCompany Dollar (CCD). Benefits of staking it can be significant. Those who hold one million can claim one HSBI daily, if you have 500K you can claim an HSBI twice a week, and at 100K you can claim an HSBI once a month.
He is also in the process of building some new games and other exciting projects that we will see in the very near future!
Silver and Gold
Silver and gold both had a rough week, but that's how the markets work at times. I'm still bullish on both of these precious metals and wouldn't be surprised to see gold hit $4,000 this year. A few years ago I never would have even thought that would be possible.
The world continues to be unstable, and people will tend to invest in silver and gold in times like these. Hopefully things get better rather than worse, but the trend seems to be worse as of late. Here are the charts of silver and gold over the last five days, they still are at very high dollar amounts compared to even one year ago.

Every week I like to showcase some silver or gold that is on special, and this week there is a great deal on some silver from Niue.

These coins are on sale at a APMEX for $35.56 (at the time of writing the post up) which is only $3.29 over spot price of silver. Not too bad a deal for a Disney commemorative coin, and it was the Aladdin with Robin Williams which was hilarious, unlike their live actions remakes they do now which really tend to suck... But this is a great way to invest in silver at a great price!
Both silver and gold will be great bets down the road, and historically they are a great way to build wealth.
There are several other projects I'm working on as well, but this post would be way too long to include them all. I will be swapping in some others next week to keep things interesting!

Well I have pretty much missed the last couple days of hive movement and was surprised to see you say it went to 0.29!
