Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about my most epic battle so far. I hope it will be useful for you.
I've been participating in Scholar Showcase tournaments for about a month now, and I'm having a lot of fun and witnessing incredible, epic battles. Scholar Showcase tournaments are both educational for me and give me the chance to try out cards that are not in my deck. By the way, Scholar Showcase tournaments have no entry fee and are a great opportunity to gain experience and show off your skills.
And below I will talk about my most interesting and epic battle so far. The battle is a battle from the Scholar Showcase: Expert Modern tournament, and max level cards could be played in this tournament.
Having top-level cards can provide a great advantage in battles because when we upgrade a card to the max level, we can benefit from its full power in battles. Combining multiple cards with the same name will increase the level of the cards, which in most cases will change the stats of the cards. As we level up the cards, our team becomes more powerful, so we are more likely to win battles, and we can get more rewards from the ranked battles we win. That's why I put great emphasis on leveling up my cards, I hope one day I will be able to level up all my cards to the max level.
When I reviewed the recent battles of the opposing player, I saw that they preferred Eternal Tofu as an Archon and mostly cards with magic attacks. I thought the opposing player would adopt a similar strategy in this battle and I can say that I determined my strategy accordingly.
I chose Lorkus, one of my favorite Archons. A multi-element Archon with tactics, Lorkus can call forth units Death and Fire Units. Lorkus rants +1 Melee Attack to all friendly Melee Attack Units and +1 Magic Attack to all friendly Magic Attack Units. And he grants Life Leech and Affliction, or Fury and Trample to two chosen Units. Lorkus is really powerful and grants Units some great abilities that can be very useful in battle. And I gave Grimbardun Smith and Venka the Vile the Life Leech and Affliction abilities, and I believed that with these abilities they would be much more effective in this battle. And since I thought the opposing team would mostly have magic attacks, I put Void or Magic reflect abilities in the front lines.
To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was also very good and I was especially amazed by Heloise the Hollow's performance. To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was also very good and I was especially amazed by Heloise the Hollow's performance. For a moment I thought she would never be completely destroyed because she was resurrected five times and almost every time she was defeated she caused great suffering to almost everyone who defeated her.
Heloise the Hollow's counterattacks are truly brutal and most interestingly, since she has the Spite ability, she has a 100% chance to counterattack when defeated. Heloise the Hollow really fascinated me in this battle and I added it to the list of cards I needed to add to my deck, I'm kicking myself for missing this proma card, hopefully I can add it to my deck in the future.
And Heloise the Hollow was destroyed for the 5th time in round 3, never to be resurrected again. She was finally completely destroyed, but she caused my team a lot of suffering.
Although the opposing team seemed to have a higher chance of winning, especially the Void and Life Leech abilities were very useful in this battle and despite having higher health, the enemies could not defeat Grimbardun Smith. And together, Grimbardun Smith and Moxian Rebel destroyed the enemies.
The battle lasted 16 rounds and my team managed to win. It was one of the most exciting, fiercest and most epic battles I've ever had and I wanted to share it with you, I hope you enjoyed the battle. It was truly an amazing battle. A big thank you to the Splinterlands team for helping me gain such an amazing experience. I highly recommend watching the battle on the battle link if you have time.
Splinterlands is a really amazing game and I really enjoy playing it, I play it almost every day when I get the chance, I enter ranked battles, tournaments and Brawl, I wish I had the chance to play it more, I love this game so much.
