Splinterlands | my SHOCK TROOPER becomes deadly after losing its Electrify ability

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope the current downtrend in the crypto market hasn’t broke your confidence down and guess you are using this situation as an opportunity to invest or generate more crypto tokens to your possession so that you can catch a well gain from them when a good uptrend comes in future. Now for us splinterlands players, the current adventure is all about playing ranked games as more as possible to get Glint points depending on their playing level and total amount of SPS staked. These Glint points will be given as rewards for winning every match in ranked format and they are the only currency to buy and get your hands upon the rewards cards from the Rewards shop.

Now, if we look at the current season’s watch, only 4 days and 19 hours left for this ongoing season to end and I hope all of you players have started playing in the ranked while focusing for your goals by now. For me, I have currently secured a spot in the Diamond I tier with a current trophy count of 3,460 and it is already getting hard to earn a win the ranked format. Let’s see how this season goes for me as I will try to finish my goal of reaching the Champion league.

Shock Trooper

Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another awesome looking electric new reward card with you all. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the SHOCK TROOPER card. Sp without any further ado, let us all jump right in.

SHOCK TROOPER is a monster type card that got launched in the game with the latest Rebellion edition reward type card-set. This card belongs to the Water element and it costs only 4 mana to use this card in Battles, so you can easily use this monster when playing small to medium mana limit matches and the ones with Little League ruleset. It’s attack type is Magic and and it is an Epic type card, which means you will need a total of 46 BCX of cards to upgrade it to max level. apart from having a high magic attack, It also possess 3 very useful abilities which I will be talking about at below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card receives 4 magic attack at 4 speed with 5 health along with the Electrified ability, which is a brand new ability introduced with these reward card edition. With this ability, now this monster will deal 1 damage to all friendly units at the beginning of round 2, and each following round. Now you het why you are getting a high 4 attack card even at level 2, because comes with a cost. M

SILVER

When this card gets upgraded to level 3, it possesses the same 4 magic attack at 4 speed with 5 health as of its previous level. However, it does get a new ability called Strengthen with this, now it will increase every friendly monster’s max health by 1.

GOLD

As you upgrade this card to level 5, it attack power gets increased to 5 along with 4 speed and 6 health. It also carries the 2 abilities I mentioned above but does now get any new.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally when it gets upgraded to level 6, it receives the same 5 magic attack at 4 speed with 6 health and thankfully, it also gets a new ability at its max level named Magic Reflect with which, it Can now sent return damage when getting hit by magic attacks.

BATTLE STAT

This time which playing, I got a nice and suitable match to use my Shock Trooper as it was medium 30 mana limit match where 3 elements were allowed to select from - Water, Earth and Dragon and also, there were 3 rulesets applied in this match - Back to Basics, Silenced Summoners and Divine Shield. So, after seeing all these rules, I started thinking for a good lineup and finally come with a good strategy quickly and started building my lineup accordingly.

For my lineup, I chose the Dragon summoner Quix the Devious with Water cards and at my front, I selected the Baakjira, followed by Torrent Fiend, Void Dragon, Water Caller, Magi of Chaos and Shock Trooper. Next, When both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent has used the Water summoner Kelya Frendul and at his front position, he chose the Torrent Fiend followed by Cruel Sethropod, Djiin Oshannus, Nerrisa Tridawn, Kulu Swimhunter and Igor Darkspear at the end position.

MATCH PERFORMANCE

As the match started, all the monsters lost their abilities so does my Shock Trooper, so his negative side, the bad Electrified ability is removed while benefitting from the 4 attack power. In the first round, the Shock Trooper attacked and killed the first enemy card Torrent Fiend and then at round 2, my Baakjira got Dead and then also killed His by my Shock Trooper again. Now my Fiend got dead and next, the Shock Trooper reduced the Oshannus’s health to 2 and it died soon by Magic of Chaos at round 3. My Trooper attacked the Tridawn this time and decreed its health down to 7, which got further reduced by my Chaos next and then finally getting died by trooper at level 5. The last 2 cards were range cards, so I easy killed them both by my Shock trooper and Chaos and finally won the match. In this match, the Shock Trooper helped me exceptionally as he was removed from his Electrify ability. So his 4 attack combed with others bring great damage while Ignoring the armours.
