More than thirty days have passed since my last Hive post about Moonkarts and today I am returning to write about this game because there is some interesting news to share.
Moonkarts is a Hive-based arcade race game with nice graphics and good gameplay and considering that it is in Alpha version it is a game that, in my opinion, could have potential.
There are aspects to improve but the development team continues to improve the game and a new version was released on January 1, 2025: the version 1.3.0
New features have been added in the new version.
You can now transfer FUEL to other players using the new TRANSFER FUEL section.
The most interesting news for active players is the activation of Leaderboard Rewards.
On Monkarts there are two Leaderboards and now it is possible to see:
- the estimated reward
- the staking Factor
In the current season I have played only 5 races but I will try to play more races before the end of the season.
With 5 races played I am:
- 24th in Ranked Leaderboard - East. Rewards: 3926 COLONY
- 16th on the Orbitals Leaderboard - East. Rewards: 391 COLONY
Staking Factor is an important element and depends on the amount of COLONY staked.
The COLONY staked tokens are important because in combination with the rating they determine the Bonus Multiplier which has a mechanism similar to the SPS tokens on Splinterlands.
In version 1.3.0, some gameplay-related bugs were fixed including the bug that made the kart go under the bridge in stage 2.
Now that Leaderboard Rewards have been activated my goals on Moon Karts will be mainly two:
- play more frequently to place well in the two leaderboards.
- increase my amount of COLONY staked tokens.
I like to set accumulation goals for the games/projects I am interested in, and for COLONY tokens I would like to reach an amount of 100K COLONY.
Today, January 16, 2024, I made the claim of 289.16 COLONY tokens that I received thanks to the ongoing airdrop that rewards those who have SPS staked and GLX staked like me.
I now have 45185.38 COLONY staked and still need to accumulate 54861.62 COLONY to reach my goal.
Moon Karts is one of three playable games on the Arcade Colony platform.
My interest in COLONY tokens is also due to the fact that these tokens will have new use cases because they will be expendable and winnable in the Stakehouse Den, a new game under development that was the main topic of a previous post of mine that you can read by clicking on the next link.
In addition, if more and new games will be added to the Arcade Colony platform in the future, the use cases of COLONY tokens may increase even more.
I like to monitor the value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will end this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens in the December 10, 2024 - January 16, 2025 time frame.
In a time interval of 37 days:
- HIVE: +0.097$ = +24.62%
- COLONY (Highest Bid): +0.0002039$ = +48.48%
- COLONY (Lowest Ask): +0.000148$ = +25.82%
- SCRIPT (Highest Bid): +0.134135$ = +27.68%
- SCRIPT (Lowest Ask): +0.0351794$ = +5.02%

Moon Karts Alpha: Rilasciata una nuova versione + La Mia Strada verso 100K COLONY Staked!
Sono passati più di trenta giorni dal mio ultimo Hive post su Moonkarts e oggi ritorno a scrivere su questo gioco perchè ci sono delle interessanti novità da condividere.
Moonkarts è un arcade race game Hive-based con una bella grafica e una buona giocabilità e considerato che è nella versione Alpha è un gioco che, secondo me, potrebbe avere del potenziale.
Ci sono degli aspetti da migliorare ma il team di sviluppo continua a migliorare il gioco e il 1 gennaio 2025 è stata rilasciata una nuova versione: la versione 1.3.0
Nella nuova versione sono state aggiunte nuove funzionalità.
Adesso è possibile trasferire il FUEL ad altri giocatori utilizzando la nuova sezione TRANSFER FUEL.
La novità più interessante per i giocatori attivi è l'attivazione delle Leaderboard Rewards.
Su Monkarts ci sono due Leaderboards e adesso è possibile vedere:
- la ricompensa stimata
- lo staking Factor
Nella stagione in corso ho giocato solo 5 corse ma cercherò di giocare altre corse prima della fine della stagione.
Con 5 corse giocate sono:
- al 24° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Est. Rewards: 3926 COLONY
- al 16° posto nella Orbitals Leaderboard - Est. Rewards: 391 COLONY
Lo Staking Factor è un elemento importante e dipende dal quantitativo di COLONY staked.
I token COLONY staked sono importanti perchè in combinazione con il rating determinano il Bonus Multiplier che ha un meccanismo simile ai token SPS su Splinterlands.
Nella versione 1.3.0 sono stati risolti alcuni bug relativi al gameplay tra cui il bug che faceva andare il kart sotto il ponte nello stage 2.
Adesso che le Leaderboard Rewards sono state attivate i miei obiettivu su Moon Karts saranno principalmente due:
- giocare con maggior frequenza per posizionarmi bene nelle due leaderboards
- incrementare il mio quantitativo di token COLONY staked
Mi piace fissare obiettivi di accumulo per i giochi/progetti che seguo e per i token COLONY mi piacerebbe raggiungere un quantitativo di 100K COLONY.
Oggi 16 gennaio 2024, ho fatto il claim di 289.16 COLONY che ho ricevuto grazie all'airdrop in corso che premia chi ha SPS staked e GLX staked come me.
Adesso ho 45185.38 COLONY staked e devo accumulare ancora 54861.62 COLONY per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Moon Karts è uno dei tre giochi giocabili presenti sulla piattaforma di Arcade Colony.

Inoltre se in futuro si aggiungeranno altri e nuovi giochi alla piattaforma Arcade Colony i casi d'uso dei token COLONY potrebbero aumentare ancora di più.

Do you need to actually play COLONY before you can get the airdop?
I have staked SPS in my splinterlands account and staked GLX as well, but I don't play COLONY, do I qualify?
