So today was another successful Guild Outing for both our Guild EMP and me. I won seven games and lost only one, totaling 21 points.
The goal was to get all 24 points, but the second-to-last opponent simply had a better strategy, better cards, and used his Gladius cards more effectively.
When playing against a gladiator card, your goal is to keep it from hitting bloodlust, and when using it, your goal is to rack up bloodlust, because your chances of winning increase when your card hits two or three bloodlust levels.
This opponent understood the assignment and won. Unfortunately, I attempted to use fly to counter bloodlust, but failed miserably. But I learned a lesson from the one game I lost.

To console myself, I remind myself that the person had a better summoner, and their Guild finished second, while ours finished fourth.
It was incredibly disappointing to lose.
I played some really good games and even outperformed myself. But I hate losing because I want to always help my guild gain points.
Everyone wants to win in order to increase their earning potential, including me, so I pay close attention to every detail.
Another reason I aim for flawless outings is that they are delegation rewards for the top three players, and I usually aim for these rewards to increase my ranked-battle SPS earnings per game, and fortunately for me, I finished fourth and received the 10k delegation, sweet.
However, we were disappointed that we were unable to finish higher. This time, we finished fourth, one spot lower than in our previous Guild outing. We finished fourth this time, down from third the previous time. I think our personal best has been to finish second.
SPS
The good news is that we earned some nice SPS rewards. 78 SPS this time and over 5k gladius cases. So I went shopping quickly and was able to get three cases.
I opened them and received nothing special, but I was pleased to upgrade my Katrelba Gobson to level 5. It now has the snare ability. It means I can hit a fly card and not miss.
Although I don't use the Kat that much these days and that's simply because anyone can just put a card with thorn at the back and this will easily kill off the katrelba. So I try to avoid letting my opponent predict me.
Also, my Renelor Cleaver is now level 4, with no changes to its abilities other than the addition of +1 melee attack. This is ideal for me.
I can easily gain that extra advantage, which can go a long way. So here you have it. I am hoping we can push for second and first place in the next Guild outing; we are completely due.

Congrats on your Guild outing. You did great, winning 7 games and earning nice SPS rewards. Losing one game is okay, it's all about learning and improving. Your Katrelba Gobson upgrade to level 5 with snare ability is awesome. I'm rooting for you to push for first place in the next outing💪
Thank you. Yes it's a decent outing, but after winning four games I thought I was going to go ahead to win everything. That's how Splinterlands is, it's exciting and fun and the losses can be painful
Congrats on three opened Gladius packs! At time you get beat in those matches, even though you had a good lineup. Learn and move on I say. Great earnings on the SPS though, it's worth a little more these days which is nice. Hopefully it will last while at those higher prices!
The new Guild makes it easier to earn some decent SPS, my only regret was that I should have been here sooner than later and who knows, my SPS holding could have been larger.
I try as much as possible not to lose, infact I try reflect on every little detail on why my opponent might have won. I think the more we can rank better, then the more SPS for us, so everyone in the guild is giving it everything.
It's such a sweet sight to see SPS doing over 60% in the past few days. People who bought at the bottom are now grinning from ear to ear
Nice brawl result, and sometimes things just don't work out. Just learn from it and do better in the next brawl. Either way, I think you did well enough to push your guilds ranking up.
Yeah, I understand that things don't work out, I'm just the one pushing myself to actually do better for my development and for my Guild. too.

Congratulations! It's okay to lose sometimes; it helps you come back stronger. Just keep playing!
Yes, okay to lose sometimes
