Dipping My Toe in the Conclave Arcana Set: Buying my First Lvl 2 Epic Card!
With the goal of continuing to increase my income on Splinterlands, and after reaching my goal of 10,000 DEC invested in the DEC:GRAIN pool, I decided to start making my first purchases in the Conclave Arcana set, which is the most recent set playable in the Modern Format.
My strategy is in fact to own only cards that are playable in this format, selling older ones before they definitively leave the Modern Format and, in the meantime, buying new ones, so that I can rent them out where returns are higher.
As of today, my collection consists exclusively of cards from the Rebellion set, which in the not-so-distant future will be the next set to leave the Modern Format.
For this reason, I believe the time has come to start making my moves, so as not to be caught unprepared and to have a solid collection of Conclave Arcana cards ready to be rented out when the time comes to sell my Rebellion cards in bulk.
SplinterROI: my starting point
The first step was therefore to identify the first card to start buying, looking among the Conclave Arcana cards for those that have:
- a very high rental ROI;
- a price that is affordable for my finances.
Thanks to SplinterROI, I was able to check all the cards in the set and, after a while, I came to the conclusion that Molten Elemental, an Epic Fire-element creature, was the right card for me.
At level 2, this card generates a 70% ROI, even though the number of cards currently being rented is not very high; however, on the market I saw that there is only one card not being rented out, so by lowering the rental price I might be able to make it work and start generating a good income.
Things become even more interesting at level 3, where Molten Elemental becomes an even more sought-after card, certainly thanks to the additional silence ability.
Monstermarket: time to buy!
Having identified my target, I proceeded to purchase the card through Monstermarket, in order to also get some cashback.
I did not use the bid function on Peakmonsters because in this case the highest buy offer and the lowest sell price were quite close.
Once the purchase was completed, I combined the 4 copies I had bought… et voilà! My first Conclave Arcana card is now available and ready to be rented out.
Level 3 goal
If I had had the funds, I would have purchased 10 copies of this card, so that I could already have it at level 3.
However, at the moment I did not have enough DEC to complete the purchase, so to get started I bought enough copies to bring it to level 2.
In the coming weeks I will continue to accumulate DEC and, when I have enough to buy another 4 copies, I will make another purchase.
At that point, I will wait until I have enough to buy the last 2 I need, and then I will be able to combine them all into a single level 3 card.
With a bit of luck, Molten Elemental will increase my income by about 10 DEC per day, helping me move even faster toward my next purchase!

Inizia la Mia Esplorazione del Set Conclave Arcana: Acquisto della Mia Prima Carta Epica di Livello 2!
Con l'obiettivo di continuare ad aumentare la mia rendita su Splinterlands, e dopo aver raggiunto il mio obiettivo di 10.000 DEC investiti nella pool DEC:GRAIN, ho deciso di iniziare a fare i miei primi acquisti nel set Conclave Arcana, ossia il più recente set giocabile nel Modern Format.
La mia strategia prevede infatti di possedere sempre e solo carte giocabili in tale formato, vendendo quelle più vecchie prima che escano definitivamente dal Modern Format ed acquistandone nel mentre di nuove, così da poterle noleggiare laddove i guadagni sono più elevati.
Ad oggi la mia collezione è composta solo da carte del set Rebellion che, in un futuro sempre meno lontano, sarà il prossimo set a lasciare il Modern Format.
Per questo penso sia arrivato il momento di iniziare a fare le mie mosse, così da non farmi trovare impreparato ed avere a disposizione una solida collezione di carte del set Conclave Arcana pronta per essere noleggiata quando arriverà il momento di vendere in massa le mie carte del set Rebellion.
SplinterROI: il mio punto di partenza
Il primo passo da compiere è stato perciò individuare la prima carta da iniziare ad acquistare, cercando tra le carte del set Conclave Arcana quelle che abbianoo:
- un ROI da noleggio molto elevato;
- un prezzo accessibile per le mie finanze.
Grazie a SplinterROI ho potuto controllare tutte le carte del set e, dopo un po', sono giunto alla conclusione che Molten Elemental, una creatura Epica dell'elemento Fuoco, fosse la carta che faceva al caso mio.
Al livello 2 questa carta genera un ROI del 70%, sebbene il numero di carte attualmente noleggiato non sia molto alto; tuttavia sul mercato ho visto che è presente una sola carta non noleggiata, per cui abbassando il prezzo di noleggio potrei riuscire a farcela ed iniziare a produrre una buona rendita.
Le cose poi si fanno ancora più interessanti al livello 3, dove Molten Elemental diventa una carta ancora più richiesta, sicuramente grazie all'ulteriore abilità silence.
Monstermarket: tempo di acquisti!
Identificato il mio obiettivo, ho proceduto all'acquisto della carta tramite Monstermaket, così da ottenere anche un po' di cashback.
Non ho utilizzato la funzione bid di Peakmonsters perchè in questo caso l'offerta più alta di acquisto ed il prezzo più basso di vendita erano abbastanza vicini.
Completato l'acquisto ho combinato le 4 copie acquistate... et voilà! La mia prima carta del set Conclave Arcana è a mia disposizione pronta per essere noleggiata.
Obiettivo livello 3
Se avessi avuto i fondi, avrei acquistato 10 copie di questa carta, così da averla a disposizione già al livello 3.
Tuttavia al momento non avevo abbastanza DEC per completare l'acquisto, così, per iniziare, ho comprato abbastanza copie da portarla al livello 2.
Nelle prossime settimane continuerò ad accumulare DEC e, quando ne avrò abbastanza per acquistarne altre 4 copie, effettuerò un altro acquisto.
A quel punto attenderò di averne abbastanza per comprare le ultime 2 che mi mancheranno e potrò poi combinarle tutte in un'unica carta di livello 3.
Con un po' di fortuna, Molten Elemental aumenterà di circa 10 DEC al giorno la mia rendita, aiutandomi a procedere ancora più velocemente verso il mio prossimo acquisto!

That's a great card, because of its dual attack with ranged and melee to give enough damage to the opponent monster in a single round. The mana is high, but the abilities are awesome, so the level 2 is also enough for you
The dual attack looks pretty strong, but I'd like to bring it to level 3, as at that level it gets a very strong ability, silence, which should make the card more appealing on the rental market!
