Today marks the last day of Chinese New Year, Chap Goh Meh. Malaysians are in for a treat as they celebrate both Chap Goh Meh and Thaipusam, a Hindu festival honouring Lord Murugan. With two celebrations in one day, the energy and excitement is at an all-time high.
We decided to go to Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, home to several iconic landmarks, including the Petronas Twin Towers, which were the tallest buildings in the world until year 2019, when they were surpassed by The Exchange 106. These iconic structures are a symbol of Malaysia's rapid development and modernity, and are a must-visit for anyone traveling to Kuala Lumpur.
We managed to join the God of Prosperity in HIS Walk around the beautiful 10,000 sq ft KLCC Lake Symphony, where the musical fountains come alive with stunning light and sound shows at night. The entrance to the park/lake was beautifully decorated with a golden rabbit symbolizing the Year of the Water Rabbit 2023.
We took a break from all the excitement to treat ourselves to a delicious and juicy lamb burger at Fuel Shack, and it was worth every bite! Fuel Shack is located on the 2nd floor at the Signatures food court in Suria KLCC Shopping Mall. The lively and bustling atmosphere of KLCC was a treat in itself, and we left feeling satisfied and inspired.
If you're planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur, make sure you don't miss out on the vibrant energy of KLCC. From its iconic landmarks to its delicious dining options, there's something for everyone here. Don't miss out!
