A New Viand for Dinner: Chicken Dinakdakan

I was planning to cook another different kind of viand food yesterday because I want something new and taste for my taste buds. Well, the food that I cook for my dinner last night was no other than the chicken dinakdakan.

It's like chicken with mayo and seasonings with a couple of chili that makes it more spicy and more kick while eating this food.

Actually, it was not the first time that I cook this food and it was the second time that I cook it. The first time was experimenting about the food while the second time were adjusting the ingredients for the food that I made.

For last night where I cook for the second time, I adjusted some of the ingredients for the viand food that I made like the mayonnaise that I put lots of them on the first time, the liver spread, seasonings, and others where I adjusted to blend in the correct portion of the chicken that I cook.

This is what I do with the chicken dinakdakan that I also watch it in the social media that always shows while scrolling and I think wants me to cook this kind of food.

de2.jpg

The first thing you do is to slice these chicken breasts that I have into thin slices and then after slicing them all (I have three chicken breasts that I bought for testing) you were going to put it in a bowl and add some seasonings like the salt and pepper.

You can also add some paprika if you have in your house but that is optional since I don't have any paprika in my kitchen, I don't put it. Then mix together for the chicken and the seasonings.

After mixing them, you will now cook these chicken cuts into a hot oil in a pan and cook them until they are brown. After they are cook, you can put it aside in a plate because I will slice them into tiny pieces depending on how you slice it.

Next is making the dinakdakan sauce where it needs a mayo, green and red chili, lemon, onions, salt, brown sugar, ginger, liquid seasoning, and the pepper.

de5.jpg

I was slicing the onions, green and red chili, and the lemon so that I can put it in the bowl where I put the mayo. They are needed to make a dinakdakan and make it more tasty and delicious.

de6.jpg

After mixing and putting all of the ingredients, it's now time to slice the chicken that I set aside into pieces that I like, for me, I slice time into thin slices so that I can eat it in a small portion.

de7.jpg

Then, it's now time to put these sliced chicken into the ingredients that I've made beforehand and that's it, mixing them again and again until all of the chicken slices were all coated with the mayo and the other ingredients.

That's what I make the chicken dinakdakan where I saw it on the video. When I tasted it, it was delicious and really taste like the chicken dinakdakan itself. I think it is compared to what people eat like the raw fish where they called kinilaw.

I enjoyed a lot making this kind of viand food. Next time, I am going to make another kind of recipe that suits my mood where I will enjoy the rest of the food for my meal.

This is actually the first time I’ve heard of this recipe. But anyway, food really does taste better when the dish is spicy. Right? Hehe

There were stores that sells this Chicken Dinakdakan before but now, I was looking for it and no one sells a chicken dinakdakan anymore. That's why I made it myself.

This interesting recipe, especially with onion and green pepper, is really fun once you add chicken. Keep up such cooking techniques thank you.

It's not a technique because it's not myself that I discover and I only saw it on the internet and I tried it myself.
