This morning, me and my husband were planned to do traveling and mountain climbing adventure at the Abandoned Native Farm near at Bandera Mountain. This will be my first time to visit and explored the place. I really love mountain climbing and exploring those paradisiacal place at the said mountain and I was very excited. We decided to do traveling, at exactly 6 In the morning because it is still cold and perfect for walking adventure. Bringing cellphone cannot be forgot specially when I was started to join this platform so that I can take pictures and share to all of you here. A tumbler of water and a sling bag contains cellphone and handkerchief are all set ready for traveling.

This place have many interesting stories from the past just like those Native people who lives in this place many years ago has past. This place were I am standing was a corn farm land owned by the Native people. It is wide and open space that is why it is perfect for planting corn plants and animal raising activities. I was amazed of the place as we reached at the mountain top. I can't imagine how those people manage to plant their corn plants even if the place is filled with solid rocks. There are only few places that contains soil on it and thee rest are solid rocks. I heard those stories behind of this place as my Husband's Grandfather told us.

This farm land is near at the Bandera Mountain, the place were I went before. Neighboring mountains and plain places can be seen from here. For many years has past, the once a farm land was already covered with trees and wild grass, it was totally abandoned since those native people gone from this place. The only thing or views can be seen here are those areas were Native people plowing manually using a long and sharp wooden sticks.

A Piece of an Old Pottery:

There are also pieces of ancient potteries that Native people used that time, one of it is this one when my Husband found near at the Farm land. This is a piece of pottery and already broke into small pieces. As for that, I decided to brought back home and do some old things collections and displayed at the cabinet. There are lots of broken old potteries can be seen here and some of it are buried at the place. The story of my Husband's Grandfather is connected of the things we found during our travel adventure.

An Abandoned Pineapple Farm:

Not just corn plants but also lots of pineapples planted in this place. For many years ago, those open place were corn and pineapple plants planted are already covered with this tall tress and thick wild grass. But the pineapple plants still there, this place was an open areas but it turns into a forest place.

I was having a lot of fun and adventurous moment as we tried to explored the abandoned pineapple farm. I've seen many young pineapple fruits but it is not yet ready to harvest. Insects like bugs, butterfly and spiders are inhabited the place and also dangerous animals like snakes and wild cats. I can't imagine how this place turned into a forest areas and that I really amazed of the stories behind of this farm place.

Big old trees just like this one can also found here at the Farm, it is already preserved and the stream were native people went to do fishing is now already dried. Lots of big rocks and tall cliff are in the place and there are lots of changes on the environment. According to the stories that my Husband's Grandfather told us, this stream gives lot contributions to all native people living here once. They fetch drinking water here and sometimes they do rituals offering some animals.

Many old things just like Stone grinder used for Corn and grains, old Iron, Porcelain, Shells necklace and sharp pointed stones use for cutting or hunting was also recovered here. It shows that this place held many different kinds of activities just like hunting, rituals ceremonies and Farming activities. This place is not the only areas were old civilization happens, there are also some parts of the place here in Sitio contains a great historical stories.

Thank you for reading and visiting my post, have a nice day everyone.
