I'd planted few lemon-grass here last day and now it also produced long leaves. It indicates that this place is also perfect for lemon-grass and the best thing I will do is to cultivate the soil near of it. Watering 3x a week is a must so it can produced lots of leaves and expanding its roots. The soil is really fertile and aside of that, this plant can produced lots of leaves within 6 days. I also removed the wild grass grows near of it and started to watered after cultivating the soil.
My Malunggay plants also produced lots of leaves. Instead of planting the seeds, I decided to choosed the cutting to be planted at the fertile soil. Planting malunggay using matured branches needs to dug slightly deep hole at the Ground, so the plants wont easily lean everytime when there is a strong wind. I checked those small young leaves and started to removed any harmful insects like appids.
Due to intense head happened here for the past few days, some of my vegetable plants like Okra started to dehydrated and the best solutions for this is to watered it. The leaves are started to burned because of the intense heat from the sun and I hope it will survived from dehydration. In order to found and see it very easily, I put some sticks near at the plant and planning to put lots of Okra vegetables here. The estimation number of Okra vegetables I want to plant here almost 300 plants.
My Alugbati and Camote leaves are grows stabled. It produced lots of vines, leaves and roots that can help the plants grows very fast. Cultivating the soil here is very easy because it only compost mix wit sand and soil. The water can easily soaked in the water because of the Sandy soil particles. My Father was already harvested my Alugbati leaves last day and I am very proud that it works and it helps even in a simple way.
My Cacao trees are also grows very healthy in fact there are some fruits that already harvested and sell to the market place. I forgot to cultivate the soil and this will be my second project here.
This Madang fruit trees we have here was also stable. Last day, small goats ate those young leaves of this tree and I was felt very sad. As for that, we kept ourselves take caring of it and now it already lots of leaves.
The next thing I did was to went at our neighbor's place were lots of manggoe fruits can be seen and found. Good thing the caretaker authorized us to entered the place and let exploring the place while eating those manggoes we got.
The next simple work I did was to take and drink a coffee. This is my favorite glass and my partner also brought this thermo for only 190 Pesos each. The reason why Also take the daily obligations is to have bountiful harvest for the right time. Having this kind of place is really fun and enjoyable. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
this is the kind of living I really wanted. Quiet, simple, peaceful and sustainable. This reminds me that happiness doesn't always come from big things.. Like yours, it’s in watching your plants grow, pulling out weeds, or sipping coffee after a morning of simple work. Thank you for sharing this glimpse into your garden life @thelivingworld.
