The Exploration Continues...

I've been quite busy with work and gardening recently... and in addition, it was rainy for weeks. However, it hardly rained this week, and I felt that my body needed to move more than the everyday gardening work. I asked my father last night if he wanted to go for a jog the next morning. I only had one class today since the usual 2-hour class was rescheduled for tomorrow instead. He agreed!

It was blue hour when we left the house. It was around a quarter to six, and my class is at eight. :) We initially planned to go to the previous route (going beyond the Elementary school) because it was a nice place to jog compared to the other routes.

On our way to the main road, we saw this cute baby cow. Recently, there have been baby cows in our neighborhood because a couple of mommy cows gave birth. They're so cute and fun to watch.

As I've mentioned earlier, we initially planned to go the usual route (the left side), but when we arrived in the area, we decided to go the opposite side and explore what's there.

The road on the right also splits in two, and we chose to go to the left. There was a small stream, and many trees. However, when we walked around 300 meters, there were quite a lot of houses and so many dogs on the road, so we did a 180. hahaha

Finally, we chose this road, hoping not to encounter many dogs along the way. hahaha

There's this huge house near the corner of the road. It's a compound, and when we passed by, they had a huge caged iguana near the gate! I didn't take a photo of it, though. hahaha

As we continued walking, we heard flowing water. I wonder what it was, so I tried finding it. I think it's connected to the stream from the other side earlier. In this place, you could only hear the flowing water, the trees swaying because of the wind, and the bird sounds. It's so amazing!

After quite a long stretch of just trees that makes the place like a small forest, there's an open area! There were some houses here and there, but most of them are away from the road. The trees are huge, and some are quite old, but I love the vibes. Anyway, here's the open area below!

It had a completely different vibe from the area we just passed by earlier. We decided to just stop in this area, and went back to the place we passed by. We just walked to this place, but going back to the intersection, we jogged most of the way.

I was out of breath since I couldn't go for walks and jogs for weeks, but it felt really good!

We arrived home a few minutes before seven, so I had enough time to have breakfast and prepare for my class.

My mom wants to go for a walk tomorrow, and I plan to accompany her. We'll probably take the same route as today. She'll definitely enjoy the scenery!
