My Father's Birthday Walk... :)

It's my father's birthday today, so I took the morning off to accompany him to church. It's been our tradition to go to church to light some candles and offer our prayer of thanks for the gift of life. We decided to walk there for exercise, but not the usual very early time because I worked until midnight last night.

We headed out at a little past six, so the sun had already risen. Before going to the church, we went to the beach first to breathe some fresh air and relax after the walk.

Some people were just hanging around the beach, while the others were swimming. The sun was already up, so we just stayed on this side because the usual place where we often watch the sunrise was already hot. I took a couple of photos of that area, though.

It was still around 6:20ish when I took the photo, but it was already very bright. This is one reason why we often go for a walk from 4 AM and watch the sunrise at this place at around 5 in the morning. Going much later would be uncomfortable already.

The second shot above was in panorama mode, so the church appears to be bending. Our city's church is so pretty. There was an ongoing mass when we arrived there because it's Holy Week now, and there'll be some activities.

After lighting some candles, we bought some bread for breakfast and some ingredients that mama wanted us to get. She prepared some special food for papa's special day. She already shared one of them, which you could check HERE. It's a delicious cheese mango Graham ice cream. She also cooked one of papa's favorite dishes, so I suppose she'll share it on her blog someday, too. haha

Now, I'm chilling while babysitting Max in my room. I'll be working until midnight tonight, but I won't start until a little after dinner. Gotta work hard to pay the bills! haha
