My father celebrated his birthday last week, and as usual, I accompanied him to the Divine Mercy shrine to light some candles and offer prayers. It's a family tradition.
To make use of our time more efficiently, we're also dropping by the wholesaler store nearby to get some stuff for our store, and also for our house. My mom cooked some special dishes for him.

Does it seem that we're headed to an adventure? Hahaha Actually, we bring backpacks when buying something from the wholesaler. The store is around 10-15 minutes away on foot if we take the shortcut, so bringing the stuff we bought by hand would be very difficult and heavy.
However, if we place them inside our backpacks, it wouldn't be as heavy, and we won't be using any plastic anymore. It's like an ecobag, but a backpack version. haha
We dropped by the wholesaler first and gave our list, then we headed to the shrine. We'd just go back to the wholesaler afterwards.

It was almost 9 AM when we went there. The sun was up, and was quite strong... so I was running out of breath going up the hill. Normally, I wouldn't since we usually go there early when it's not hot. Anyway, we survived. XD

My cousin Nicole and my aunt came over to bring his cake, and some lumpia in the afternoon. They went home soon because they had things to do... I celebrated Papa's birthday with Mama and our furbabies. It was simple, yet we enjoyed some delicious food, which I failed to take photos of. My mom made spaghetti and hamonada.
The next day, my cousins and my aunts came over again. We celebrated my father's birthday together with Arashi's. Their birthdays are one day apart. We enjoyed a lot of good food, and we bonded over karaoke, too!
I also went to the shrine with them, but that is for another post. Thanks for reading, and see you around! (^^,)/

HBD to your father, have a blessed joyful day
