Hello to you all! Itβs a long time ago I do not make the recipes post because I do not have the time. This is the season of (Krasang) Java Cola fruit, so I would like to share easy recipe with you all. Itβs countryside food and popular food in the city too.
Normally the people make it for eating with grilled fish-meat or fried fish-meat and always eat with rice. For these Java Cola fruits are popular with many different in Khmer food. We used them in sour soup, with salad and many other things. This recipe we also make without long beans too. I hope you enjoy it.
Some more people in my country like add Prahok in this recipe too but our family eats vegan food. Some people also like added dried fish. Do you know Prahok? Prahok make from fish.
Cut Java Cola fruit in half and use a spoon to remove the flesh.
Cut long beans like short and peel garlic and red onion.
Take a mortar and crush garlic, red onion and chili with salt, sugar and nutritional yeast well.
Then add Java Cola and crush it a little more, add long beans and crush it a little bit. After taste it and you can add more ingredients by your taste. Finally add eryngium foetidum and mix it together.
Itβs easy for make it and simple ingredients but itβs delicious with everything you like to eat. Have a nice weekend everyone.
