How I Spent My Holiday | A Month-End Get-Together with a Few USC Batchmates

So we had no work last Wednesday, November 30, because it was Bonafacio Day. Our friend, a batchmate from the University of San Carlos, decided that we should meet up and catch up. We all agreed to meet at Barangay Seoul. More details are here.

 
Me and my son arrived first at the place, and we got our tables. We were just a total of five, including my son, because the other three have personal matters to attend to and can't come.

The place had a few customers already. The ambiance is okay, but I have to say that there were no exhaust fans on any tables on the inside of the place. So I decided to get the table from outside the restaurant.

 
Minutes later, the first one arrived, Marben, and then, minutes after that, Kim and Paulo arrived. We then started to get our side dishes from the designated counters. A staff member placed our meats on the table and lit the stove so we could fry the pork. All the foods were delicious, and the place was clean. You can also ask for a noodle to be cooked by their staff.

We dug in while catching up and talking about each other's lives, and yes, "Marites," lol. And yeah, after we ate and headed out after paying, we realized that we hadn't taken a group picture inside. haha.

 
Marben brought his car, and we then decided to go to The Park Social to continue our talks and catch up. Lol. When we arrived, it was drizzling. We sat outside at a table and ordered a bucket and a sisig. The discussions were interesting, and Marben decided to add another set, so it's all on him, he said, because we just meet so seldom, so it was his treat in a way. So Kim and I were ecstatic. Haha. Marben went home ahead of us, so I, Kim, and Paulo finished everything.

We were craving ice cream around 10 p.m., and my son got hungry again. We went to the nearest McDonald's and ordered food. I ordered a rice meal for my son and extra rice. While I was ordering, I and Kim couldn't help laughing and talking nonsense. But it was a lot of fun. Hehe

We parted ways and returned home immediately after eating. It was raining, but we brought our umbrellas. It was a fun night indeed. We planned to meet again before Kim goes abroad permanently. Hmm
