Wednesday Walk - Senior High School Graduation

Graduation! I was so excited for the the youngest daughter of my boss who loves me like her mother. When she was a child, she was even confused why she be two mother. Why? Because my lady boss was sicked before and she thought she could never survive it. To get ready for the youngest daughter if she word due that time , she let me slept with her daughter for 10 years. She was always out of town for medication. Now, she graduated her senior high and I felt proud and made me feel sentimental.

One of the hardest things counted the process of my sacrifices in the Middle East was the graduation day of my son. I have only one son but it's too painful that every occasion of his life I was not there with him, I was only with him for 7 years then I started my life away from home for greener pastures. Elementary and college graduation I was not attending any on that occasion. It was not because I don't love him but it's the poverty and so many struggles in our family being a bread winner and the eldest among siblings who got married too young. But still my obligations for my family was still there. All my life had been a struggle but how I fought and won despite and INSPITE of all. Looking back, I couldn't believe I am still alive for so many bad attempt. Thank's God for holding me so tight. To make the long story short, I would like to tell you that six children of my boss were already graduated their studies. Have their own family and children. They were still elementary before and two of them were not yet born and the youngest had graduated her Senior high school yesterday. It made me realized how far I am now staying with them. The youngest love me so much like a daughter of mine and we have the best relationship. Now that she's turning 18, I can talk all my inner trouble that made her cry for me secretly because we don't want her mom see her crying for me.

Four years more to go she will finish her study and I asked myself if I will be here until that day?

I made a promised to their mom who was a cancer patient to take care of them and won't leave them 16 years ago. Though my boss survived that illness, she can't do all things at home so I kept that promised and we have a good relationship. I work here for too long but I am not gaining big salary. They are not rich but spiritually abundant that give them happy and contentment way of their life. Thanking God for this morning, teardrop is falling while writing this. This is my DESTINY and will of God.

I didn't finish my college. I was studying BEED, supposed to be an Elementary teacher but I failed it.

She let me wore her graduation day attire and I felt so happy because in the Philippines, we have to wear black gown if successfully graduated.

I hope that I am still here during her college graduation. It's my family happiness when I sent them money too.
