For The Cheesy Lover Teens: A Pork Stew Cooked For Them As Dinner Scenes
Cheesy Pork Stew
(Your Kids Would Love Without Ado)
Being a family of cheese lovers, my home never runs out of it because my teens would ask for them now and then. This time, when it is about to get spoiled in few days to come, I decided to include it in the dish I prepared for dinner. Alas! I didn't expect it to turn out so well. My teens will be home in an hour from school. And as usual, a meal is always the best treat for them after school. Join me and let's prepare this dish with the following ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 kg lean pork or chicken breast fillet (cubed)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 onion
star anise (optional)
salt (to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
1 cube chicken boulllion or 1/2 tbsp chicken powder
1 or 1.5 tbsp tomato paste
3/4 or 1 tsp washed sugar
1 small can pork and beans
1/2 cup mozarella or quick/easy melt cheese
1 big carrot (cubed)
1 big potato (cubed)
1 big red bell pepper (cubed)
2 tbsps cooked green peas
1 tbsp cooking oil
600-800 ml water
Procedure:
1.Peel, wash, and cut/slice garlic, onion, carrot, potato, and bell pepper. Wash and cut (into cubes) meat separately.
2.Heat oil in a skillet with low-medium heat. Using a tablespoon of cooking oil, saute garlic and onion until translucent. Add in the meat, star anise, and chicken boullion. Mix well. Add in tomato paste, cover and simmer until meat is cooked. Stir regularly. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Mix well. Add water. Cover and let it boil.
3.When boiled, add carrot, potato, and bell pepper. Mix well. Cover and let it simmer until tender. When tenderness is obtained, add cheese. Mix well and cover.
4.Achieving its creaminess, add cooked green peas, pork and beans. Mix well. Cover and let it cook for two to five minutes. Turn off heat.
5.Yay! Your dish is ready to be served. Set the table and enjoy dinner with your loved-ones๐

Oh my! I missed this one. It looks very delicious, and I've really missed cooking. I only cook when I have time and when I feel inspired. Hahaha. This recipe is tempting, so I'm going to cook it and give it a try. Whenever I make this dish, I always add plenty of green peas because they are my favorite!

Cheesy pork stew that's yummy and made with love; your teens surely had a delicious meal. It's something that I also can see during big gatherings, but this one is cheesier. Children will always look forward to going home when they know that delicious meals are prepared for them where they can feel the love of their parents. We need more rice for this kind of dish though heheh...
Hello @bettsmarie09. Yes, I agree that we can't help but get extra cup of rice with this dish (not good for us, right? Hahahahaha). But sometimes I use a trick to beat the desire of having more rice especially when eating with my teens. And common lines from teens upon reaching home, "what's on the table ma?" hahahahaha.
