A Simple and Special Family Dinner at Fina Restaurant

Happy Tuesday Hivers!

We’re not really the type of family who likes to explore different cuisines, especially when we’re dining with our seniors. Their stomachs can be quite sensitive, so we usually stick to food that we’re already familiar with.

We’re more open to trying different cuisines when we eat at a buffet because there are usually plenty of options to choose from, and everyone can simply pick something they’re comfortable eating. But when it’s not a buffet, we mostly choose restaurants that serve Filipino cuisine.

It’s actually quite rare for us to choose a restaurant that serves a cuisine we’re not familiar with. We just feel more comfortable with food that we’re used to, since we don’t want anyone to end up with an upset stomach.

This time, our nephew treated the whole family to dinner, which gave us another chance to get together. It’s actually quite rare for all of us to be together, so whenever we do get the chance to see each other, we always make the most of our time together.

Our nephew chose Fina Restaurant at NUSTAR Cebu for our family dinner. He had never been inside NUSTAR before because he had already left for Canada before the resort opened. Since he was back in Cebu, he wanted to take the opportunity to finally visit NUSTAR and experience it for himself. It turned out to be a nice choice for our family gathering and a great excuse for all of us to spend quality time together.

We ordered a combination of seafood, vegetables, and meat so that everyone would have something to eat, especially those who are allergic to seafood. Although, I have one brother who is allergic to seafood but still eats it anyway, so he usually ends up taking an antihistamine afterward.

This was our first time dining at Fina Restaurant, and overall, we really enjoyed the experience. We liked the taste of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant, and, most importantly, the service. The staff were accommodating and attentive, which made our family dinner even more enjoyable. The restaurant was also quite busy, with many people dining in, which made us think that many others also appreciate their food and service.

What made this dinner special, though, was not just the food or the restaurant itself, but the opportunity to spend time with the whole family. Since it’s not often that we get to gather everyone in one place, moments like this are definitely worth cherishing. Good food, good service, and a family, what more could we ask for?
