Saturday Morning Errands: A Quick Shoe Hunt Makes Extraordinary.

Saturdays, usually for relaxation after a busy week at school for kids and us at work. Household chores and preparing things for school next week.

But yesterday was different, it turned out that I needed to buy Aya’s sports shoes. I asked her to prepare her things for sports and it turned out that her sports shoes no longer fit. Even if Aya tries to squeeze her fit in it will be uncomfortable to wear. It feels like yesterday, time flies so fast that Aya has grown up already. So we need a quick shoe shopping for her.

So, I told her I will prepare and eat our break, take a shower, prepare and if we're all ready, set off to the town.

Yesterday’s breakfast was sausage and my in-laws gave me to us. And I'm so grateful that my relationship with my in-laws is great and we were happy family. Their loving, kindness, and they're incredibly generous means a lot me. They make me feel more that I'm part of their family that's why I love them.

It was a lazy Saturday and raining because of the small errands, we will go to the town. Actually it was a good idea to prepare the things she needed. And if there's an errand, we can fix it on time.

As we buckled up and pulled out of the driveway, we were ready for Operation Shoe Shopping. Finally, we arrived at the shop named Deichmann, and there were lots of beautiful shoes, clothes, bags and more. Of course, our only target was her sports shoes. I need to pay for her lunch, singing and dancing. I’m just waiting for the paper from school and I know it will come next week. So, focus on searching for shoes.

At Deichmann, what a relief that was still on sale. I let Aya choose what she likes, from color, style and brand lined up on the shelves. She tried the choice that she likes, checking the fit, comfort and her shoe style. And I said which one you like because I don't like to stay longer and be tempted to buy that was not part of my target. She saw the perfect shoes for her. I saw a happy spark in her eyes and always thanking me that she has a new pair of shoes. And I said, “You're welcome! Ask as long as you need it in your school and you know I’m here to support you.

It was time to pay and she decided that she would go to the counter alone. Happily went to the counter, she gave the money to the cashier. And on sale for 30% discount, from 40 euro to 28 euro. Perfect shoes for my love.

Buying shoes for Aya is always a mix of practicality and excitement.

My Aya isn't a little girl anymore. Seeing her more confident, more comfortable in her own skin, and my amazing Aya see her bloom like a beautiful flower. Saying goodbye to her old sports shoes means turning a page to a new chapter. As we headed back home, she was happy showing Tato her new shoes.

Our Saturday errands might seem ordinary, but when done with love and support, our daughter becomes more than just a pair of shoes and it's so important to us.
