😽 Hive Assistant Sleeps On The Job 💤 & Cambodia's Mickey Mouse 🐭

ChairWoman Meow is hardly a good Hive assistant, but she is furry, friendly, and keeps me company into the wee hours of the morning.

The above photo is a picture of Srey-Yuu's leg, adorned by Cambodia's copyright friendly version of Mickey Mouse. I am kidding, Cambodia has zero regard for copyrights, you can download images from the internet, print them on clothes and sell them without any fear of a lawsuit. However, sometimes Engrish errors are made, and a letter W sure likes like an M if you're looking at it upside down, and N like a U, and a 2 looks a lot like an S.

😼 More Of Meow Doing Nothing

nnnnn.png

Meow pretty much sleeps all day like most cats, whether on my bed or on my lap while I do Hive stuff. At around 3am she comes to life, and usually I am still awake working on the computer so I will help her find geckos to eat. If there is no wall meat to be found, I entertain her with the laser pointer until she tires and settles for some seaweed and nutritional yeast.

🖼️ A Little AI For You All

It's 3:37 am as I write this sentence, and I'm awake once again because the missus wasn't feeling well and also outside the home a good portion of the day. I work more than full-time no matter what, but on most days I end up being a full-time house-husband, leaving little time for myself. I made 12 x aloo parathas and tofu matar for dinner, and I thought Pov had agreed to take some pics of me cooking for a post, but apparently there was a communication breakdown.

Three pictures are hardly enough for a proper post, so I called on AI for some help. I decided for A Van Gogh styled painting of me holding ChairWoman Meow on a battlefield. Somehow I ended up with cat eyes, but the image is still reminiscent of the two of us. Hopefully a proper post is soon to come, but that's all I have for now. Time to get in bed before my daughter's alarm rings in order to make things seem as normal as possible.

A recommendation, when you use images made by AI, place the link of their origin, that way who we are curators can verify :)

I think this was a Dall-E or Stable Diffusion offline generation. I have been tinkering with both, can't remember which one I was using when I made this. Either way I am sorry there is no URL for offline image generations. I can share you a link to download Dall-E or Stable Diffusion via GitHub yourself, but that's all I can offer other than showing you a picture of my computer.

Unrelated question, but what are "who we are curators?" Since you're already here, might as well take some time to read the post and comment on it as well.

Since there is no link to your build, it's a good idea to mention that you generated the image from your computer offline, and link to github or dall-e in this case.

This is so that the hive community knows where that image came from. and the curators of all hive are clear about their origins.

This is a simple orientation, to avoid possible misunderstandings.

And the curators are all of us who evaluate the publications and decide if we give them rewards or not, each one is different and has their own standards to decide what type of reward to grant.

In my case, I am guiding you, so that your publication transform in more successful and outstanding.

I already mentioned in the post it's an AI image, but GitHub is not the image source nor the origin, and I don't have access to the Dall-E site because I am geo-restricted. In that case the source is my trusty Intel NUC located in the heart of Cardamom Mountains. It's clearly stated the image is an AI image generation, and anybody wanting to know more, I'd rather not send people without tech skills to sites like GitHub. One could really screw up their computer if they don't know what they're doing, would definitely suggest to do some google research first before deciding if GitHub is a site you should visit because a few misplaced clicks could end really bad.

By the way, I know what a curator is, that wasn't my question. I just don't know what "who we are curators" are, the phrasing is grammatically unclear. I am a curator also, been doing it for probably around 4 years at least, built the 21st ranked community on Hive from grassroots means over several years, and have been around this blockchain long before that.

It is not about sending people to programming sites, it is about citing where the image was generated from, which is the dall-e website, or from git hub, or the company in charge of that model. So that anyone who reads this publication can easily go to investigate.

But you're not providing any link to it, you're just making a mention, and that's not enough.

If you have any doubt about whether not to cite the links from which an AI image originates, visit the Hive Watchers discord, read the publications that are currently maintained on the subject by different and important stakeholders and that will give you more clarity on the subject, just saying.

Not generated from the Dall-E website nor GitHub, an offline image generation. With Dall-E offline or online, all users own commercial rights to reprint, merchandise, and sell as they see fit. In this case being an offline Dall-E image generated on my pc with no url link available, I have the full rights to it, and what coding/program I used is up to me to disclose, just as what program I used to edit my photos is up for me to disclose. For purposes of Hive and the way monetization works here, I clearly labeled the image AI because that's the culture here, and always share online image generation sources which actually have a url link.

I edited all the images in this photo with GIMP and used some fonts downloaded from other websites and didn't even mention either of them at all, I suggest you give me a hard time about that as well if you have time. Since you're already here and we're clogging up my comments feed, perhaps you could comment a little on the actual post like everyone else, just sayin'. I'm a bit bored with this, and I can only suggest you use the power of your downvote if we agree to disagree.

@manclar Any Ecency curators who do not find properly sourced images should simply skip giving a boost.
Thanks for taking the time to attempt to explain why future posts without proper sources may not receive a boost.

Yes, that's right, try to make him understand.

Thank you very much for making the matter clear @ melinda010100

I think it's just a lack of understanding how offline image generation works and why there are no urls for images not produced online, no worries.
