I guess it has been almost an year back when the Survival mode was shut down by the team for its revival. Though when it was shut down, I guess it was active for less than 6 months, so it was a new change and did not clicked so it reverted. I think player do enjooyed this mode and wanted it back too but it was live for so less time that I guess no one actually pressed for its immediate revival. But now according to official announcement Survival Mode officially returns on February 15! and I am sure this move will be definitely welcomed by players especially player like me who has large collection of cards of old sets but play in the Modern league and unable to rent out the cards.(as I never understand what should be the correct price to rent out these cards, or if any reasonable market really exists for them.)

With this, I am expecting some increase in my SPS earning as I am planning to play in the Survival mode. Though I never a dominant force in the game but I do have max level summoner of CHAOS LEGION cards and I am trusting them to help me win some battles. Also once this mode starts, based on the rulesets, gameplays and do's and dont's of the game, I will definitely carve a strategy for me. May be getting 3 to 4 thousand DEC for renting all extra cards may be also an option but all of this really depends once survival game mode goes live.

Apart from the Modern league, I am playing the Frontier Leagues and after a long time , I had hit jackpot chest for very first time. Getting my first jackpot chest after such a long time of playing really did get me excited and I first decided to take a screenshot before opening the chest.

I was expecting some jackpot card but I received "Splintervibes: Kicking RoC" , music collectibles of the Splinterland's ecosystem. They have announcement about the Splintervibes — A New Layer of Music in Splinterlands some 15 days back. As a battle hardened player, I had not much interest in this collectible set of game but since luck has chosen me and awarded this music collectible, I will keep it.
