Splinterland's : Before the season ends, I hit the Gold.

I have not thought about it at all, as I am not expecting it at current season. Three days ago, I was struggling to break in the Silver 1 league and suddenly I find myself today in Gold league, a goal that I was chasing since I resumed playing Splinterland's in October/November 2025. Initially I struggled even to reach Bronze 1 league, but my continuous card upgrades showed results and I started climbing up in the Silver leagues too. Still I consider the Gold league as distant dream because it took me more than a week to reach Silver 1 from Silver 2. My win rate drastically drops when I am in the border of reaching Silver 1. Even in last season, I did reached Silver 1 but ended season in Silver 2. So closing this season in Gold league is much unexpected.

With the season going to end in less than 12 hours, I started battling today with 1700 rating points. My goal was simple that I should win battle, try to to remain in Silver 1 league before this season end. I was very content to end with 1700+ score as it means that I have a high probability of remaining in top 100 of leaderboards. Little did I know that today I am going to have a good win rate that will help me to reach the Gold league itself.

So I unlocked Gold 3 league, and with that, I have gotten the claim to the rewards chest of the Gold 3 league. I opened my rewards chests to check my rewards.

Since this is the rewards chest for the Gold league, I was expecting some good rewards from it but in the end I received a common scroll and good amount of the common cards. 3 energy I got is also very welcome as it will help me to fight 3 more battles. With 7 more cards added to my collection, I have to figure out what can be the best possible usecase for them.

After winning the battle and reaching the Gold League, I checked the leaderboards too. I was at position 36 and look like if I end the season in this position, I can get extra 12500 Glint as leaderboard prize. With this win just happened when season end is less than 10 hours away, I am wondering if I am able to remain top 50 or not. I hope for all the best and here is the link to battle which helped to reach Gold league.
