Chasing 3 Million COLONY: How I'm Earning, Staking, and Playing My Way to the Top in ArcadeColony.

If you are wondering what COLONY is, then let me iterate for you that COLONY is the governance token of the Arcadecolony/invennium platform. So every upcoming game and current game like (Moonkarts, Stakehouseden, and Hyper Rail Blaster) has incorporated COLONY as it's governance token as well as Play2earn rewards in the platform. If you are playing these games, then having more COLONY is desirable. Even if you are not playing the game, then you can still keep a little stash of tokens aside for future speculation.

As, I am currently playing Moonkarts game in the ArcadeColony platform, my urge to have a strong COLONY stake is increasing day by day. I am making my long-term goal of 3 million COLONY tokens, and I like to race for the first million COLONY tokens to get them as soon as possible.

1. Buy the COLONY token

The easiest and effortless way to have COLONY is to buy directly from the market and use the Tribaldex pool with slippage. If the amount of token is small, like less than 5000, then you can use the Hive-Engine market. I am currently buying COLONY tokens, but not in a significant amount, I guess, I will increase by buying from June onwards, after hitting my HP milestone of 33000 HP.

2. Play2Earn.

As I already mentioned above that COLONY is both the governance and Play2earn token of the game of the ArcadeColony platform. I have increased my playtime in the game to have more earnings of the COLONY token from the game.

I am able to reach 11 position in the leaderboard with 1590 points, that definitely give a boost to my ranking and earnings in the game, but I hit the "FUEL" shortage in my account. It is not like that I have not staked cards to produce FUEL, but it simply means my current FUEL producing capacity is not enough.

But look like, my current FUEL production is not enough to keep me pushing to more upwards rankings and I need to buy FUEL from market to keep me pushing up in the ranking, So in short I need to spend COLONY to get more COLONY. I guess, after this season end, I will be buying FUEL and see playing much more to get more COLONY will really pay off or not.

3. Stake.

Staking the COLONY token in your account will not yield more COLOMY token automatically, but you have to play game that will increase the play2earn rewards from the game. Also, airdrop of the COLONY token is going on for staking GLX and SPS tokens. You can stake more of the GLX and SPS token to get more COLONY token in rewards. It do have an impact on your COLONY rewards and help in earning more COLONY for going forward.

My 2 Cents.

I think when you are chasing for big goals, only buying directly helps. Play2earn can increase you rewards but it increase your time commitment in the game too. Staking of the asset for the getting airdrop of token is a beautiful passive way to generate token but again it is a very slow way.
Combining all three methods of buying, playing and staking will help to reach goal fast and once you reach your goal, then you can consider other 2 methods as passive income.
