EN-PT Cost and Benefit: Buying 100 Major Loot Chest

Recalling what happened:
I left the game aside for a while and completely stopped playing matches, always having full energy with 50 points. The only thing I do is maintain my commitment to the alliance, where I have the responsibility to play in Brawl tier 5.
Each battle played in Splinterlands can result in a draw, loss, or victory.
For draws and losses, we gain nothing and lose nothing.
When we achieve victory, we receive GLINT, which is an in-game currency that can be used to purchase game items.
I can buy, for example, cards that are NFTs used in battles, meaning they are the core of the game, and they also hold value for buying, selling, or renting, depending on their utility or rarity:
It's not possible to choose exactly which card you want, only its rarity. And you pay according to the chosen rarity. The received card will be random.
I prefer to take a chance on another option! Reward chests. Each chest may contain game items or cards! These cards have random rarity, so we have the chance to pay a low price and receive a valuable card. I'm going to try my luck!
My accumulated balance is 110,000 GLINT
I decided to acquire the Major Chest, which costs 1,000 GLINT. This way, I will have 100 chests and hope to receive several cards. According to probability, I should receive:
- 33% Random cards
- 30% potions
- 26% merits
- 10% energies
- 0.001% chance of a grand prize
Using potions doubles the chances of the rarity of received cards being epic and legendary. Let's see the result:
Cards: 113
Potions: 162 ($5.948)
Merits: 12,091 ($12.091)
Energy: 17
According to the PeakMonsters site, the estimated total value of rewards is $18.039. But we need to analyze the cards individually, so let's see what we received!

Cost-benefit analysis
Let's briefly look at the GLINT costs invested in this exchange and what we received in return, to see if it was advantageous to risk reward chests or if I should have chosen cards by rarity.

I believe there were no advantages in opening the chests.
In other words, what was received is in line with what was expected.

Quando conseguimos a vitória recebemos GLINT que é uma moeda interna do game, e que pode ser usada para comprar itens do jogo.
Posso comprar, por exemplo, cards que são NFTs usados nas batalhas, ou seja, são o cerne do jogo, e ainda tem algum valor para compra, venda ou locação, a depender de sua utilidade ou raridade:
Não é possível escolher exatamente qual card se deseja, apenas a sua raridade. E paga-se de acordo com a raridade escolhida. O card recebido será aleatório.
Eu prefiro arriscar em outra opção! Baús de recompensa. Cada baú pode contar itens de jogo, e também cards! Esses cards tem raridade aleatória, então temos a chance de pagar barato e receber um card valioso. Vou arriscar essa sorte!

Vamos observar brevemente os custos de GLINT investidos nessa troca e o que recebemos em troca, para saber se foi vantajoso ariscar em baús de recompensa ou se deveria ter escolhido cards por raridade.

Foram investidos 100000 GLINT e analisando apenas estas 7 cards podemos ver que seu valor correspondente seria de 64000 GLINT. Resta ainda analisar as 100 cards restantes que são comuns e raras. Não vou fazer isso porque não acho um jeito fácil de separar os cards por estes critérios.
Acredito que não tivemos vantagens nessa abertura de baús.
Ou seja, o que foi recebido está de acordo com o que era esperado.
