Today I want to write about my last purchase. I was able to buy new gold foil card from the market. I decided to buy some cards from time to time when I have some DEC tokens ready for that occasion. Not always I'm able to buy new cards because dec still is far away from soft pegg and it means that I need to pay more dec tokens to get 1$ value. But anyway, this not mean that I can't get a really nice deals on the market from time to time. Usually money flows from impatients to patients and when I don't have much liquidity especially in dec tokens, I can wait a little bit longer for better deal. So that's the point. I bought card for 0.8$ it was already combined to silver level cap with 5 BCX. So BCX price was 0.16$ for gold foil common from Conclave Arcana edition. There cars have longer life time because when new set will be available to buy from Splinterlands team there be rotation Rebellion for new set in modern.

But what card I bought and why this card?!

I collect cards only for silver league but only gold foils to have more bonus for winning matchups. Is not easy to play with silver in diamond but when I win game it really rewards me for my effort.

My thoughts about this card

I like this card because have debuffs for ranged attack and can be playable with 2 powerful archons like Tofu and Squirrel. I didn't played with this card yet maybe is not easy to find good use from the start because 9 mana is a lot in ranked games even in Diamond League where I play. But I know that I gonna find a good use for this card maybe I just need good rulesets or many banned cards. 4 ranged damage is a lot this card have some armor and not bad 6 hp. Common card can be played with many rulesets so is always nice to have strong common cards. Not all the time is possible to play with them but this is topic for another post what rulesets are in the game and which not allow to play with common cards.

I know 1 ruleset at least maybe there are more. Ok if there be ruleset that only cards with 4 mana can be playable then my new card for 9 mana is out. When commons are banned is out too. But when I will be able to play I think I gonna use this card when ranged attack will be the best option to play with headwinds ability which debuff enemy ranged attacks by 1. This is really simple strategy if you predict that your opponent need to play with ranged just try to counter him in that way or with units with return fire.

Splinterlands is a play2earn game on hive blockchain. This is collectible card game. You choose cards and then you watch them at the battlefield. You own your game assets and you can do whatever you want with them.
