This was the week that was, and it has been an excellent week to reflect on life in general.

The end of my birthday week

That is it for another year. My birthday was the 17th of August and so I have just finished the end of my birthday week.

And what a fluffing fantastic week that was. Fun was the order of the day week and it was had in various forms and on all days and in different places!

Being my birthday and my phone died a few weeks ago, I treated myself to a new phone.

I found out there was to be one release on the 22nd of August. I have never had a new phone before, let alone one that I had to preorder ...Have you?

So on Friday my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL arrived and I love it!

I got myself a fluffing robust cover and I will test drive the phone tomorrow when I go on a day trip to Edniburgh!

So far so fluffing good and I have been watching tutorials.

Magic editor

I love some of the phone features and much has been made about how AI is used, well I have been playing with the photo editor and Magic editor, so let's have a wee look.

The first picture on the phone .....

A fluffing seagull!

Well it was taken from through my kitchen window and is on the chimney on the roof of house across the garden.

The zoom I believe was x30.

A clear picture and a gloomy day.

So yeah I loved the camera.

Next up I did a recommendation or two and just look at the results ....

I circled an area to zoom ....

And zoomed up it went....

Then another recommendation and you would think we were in another country, not gloomy Scotland!

Mental! Isn't it .... I am going to have so much fun with this!

One more about the phone and editor ...

I love cereal when I can be arsed to have some...

Chia Seeds are a superfood, mind you I have no real idea what means!

But I did the whole magic editor and redefined as a ....

a fluffing spider!

Too funny, right enough of frivolity ....

So this was an ideal day to reflect on life!

My birthday week has finished....

What have I learnt?

Too many people are still arses lol

There is good all around us.

You know this week a lady passed away who was 117 and at the time she was the oldest living human being.

Born to Spanish parents in America she returned to Spain as a young child. When asked about her longevity she said she got rid of the toxic people.

There is much to be said of positivity, but it is that negativity that really can drag you down into a pit of despair.

People will be people...

Which leads me into ...

What plans for a better week next week?

Well I think this week was pretty special.

Next week I will be doing a few trips, I need to go to Edinburgh tomorrow and then Dundee on Tuesday. It does give me a great excuse to test drive the ne phone!

I will keep being me... Keep trying to be upbeat and positive and keep having fun.

Maybe I should focus more on what excites me to make it a bit better week and fluff the dross.
