Medicinal plants, Willow Bark

Medicinal plants are essential in a garden and have many advantages for both us and our vegetables. In addition, they are very easy to grow and very resistant to both diseases and pests.

I have already talked about many medicinal plants of all kinds and also about those produced by trees. We have also seen how the leaves or flowers can be used but today I wanted to talk to you about another type of medicinal plant.

It is a well-known tree, the willow. But in this case we will use its bark as medicine. Its properties are so high that the famous aspirin comes from this bark. Probably one of the most used drugs on the planet.
So basically the willow bark has the same properties as an aspirin but more attenuated. This is important because its contraindications are also more attenuated.

The willow bark has mainly anti-inflammatory properties but it also helps when you have a headache. A little-known use is that it has dermatological properties and can be used to treat calluses on the feet or warts on the skin.

Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
