Lunar cycles in the garden.

Lunar cycles in the garden. I'm not going to lie to you, I'm not a big believer in these things and, except for a few exceptions that my grandfather told me, I don't usually use them. But it's always good to know them and share them with others so that they can make use of them if they see it necessary.

The moon is our satellite and has a great influence on the earth. Everything on earth is influenced. The clearest thing is the tides, which if you live by the sea you've surely seen. For shellfish gatherers this is something fundamental.

In plants, the theory says that it influences several things. The first is the flow of sap. But it also influences germination and how our vegetables absorb nutrients or water.
So there are things like the fact that during the waxing moon the aerial part grows more and flowering increases. Or that during the new moon there is a period of rest.
So as you can see, there is a lot of data to process and learn about the influence of the moon on our garden. In other posts I will go into more detail and how to use its influence to improve our harvests.

Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
