The year of the dragon is coming, and a nice Asahi round.

  I will write today about an interesting case of love. @dbooster sent in the server about a new release from Asahi Refining an amazing dragon round. I saw it and fell in love. I started to admire Asahi's work since @silversaver888 posted about their silver bars not long ago. They have impressive designs in their material. As she mentioned in her post , they bought important refining in North America expanding from Japan to here. While looking for the link to this post I found out that she also bought the dragon and posted about it in here . It is difficult to follow sometimes hive and I lose track of people whom I follow sometimes :(. Before knowing about this round, I was thinking about buying the new Dragon from the Canadian Royal Mint that @kerrislravenhill presented to me, but since I got one dragon already, I think I am going to skip it. Anyway, I found the Asahi's dragon at Silver Gold Bull, online here in Canada. However, their shipping is a bit stabbing, 20$, so I decided also to buy something else to "share" the shipping, so I also bought my first maple leaf, maybe a post for next time. I bought it as a pre-sale so it was shipped only in the week after when they promised. The round was a total of CAD$39.48, which is the regular price of a 1oz silver round around here. It is a good experience buying there, you can directly pay them like any other utility bill which saves more money than in credit card. And the shipping is so fast that I was surprised with the delivery before they said that it was shipped lol. I received on the same Friday that they promised to ship, they sent in the day before and the e-mail saying about the shipping came on Friday night when I had already the piece with me.

  It is interesting how Chinese culture achieved all the countries and all the time other countries honor the Culture with an animal that represents a specific year. The Dragon year is going to begin in 2024, during their new year in February. So all mints are releasing now "Dragon" coins. I just read that the Dragon represents luck and strength in the Chinese zodiac. Interesting that the Dragon is the only crypto-animal from the zodiac. But still is an "animal" that amazes me in fantasy movies or books. Another thing that is bound to the animal is the element type. Usually, five elements could be associated: Water, Wood, Metal, Fire, and Earth. In the case of the next year will be the Wood element. Interesting that I just realized that the year that I was born was also a "wood" year, but I am a wood rat, I think dragons are cooler, but it is what it is. The round by itself is beautiful, I think 1 oz silver is the perfect size to feel the silver properties in there. Despite most of my silver is around 1/4 oz because of the price. I wish I could have more 1oz pieces, lots of them in the stores want to be bought by me but my budget keeps reminding me that I can't. At least I've got an Asahi round, a beautiful round with a dragon, and a cypress tree.

Antes de saber sobre esta moeda, estava pensando em comprar o novo Dragão da Casa da Moeda Real Canadense que @kerrislravenhill me apresentou, mas como já tenho um dragão, acho que vou pular. De qualquer forma, encontrei o dragão da Asahi na Silver Gold Bull, online aqui no Canadá. No entanto, o frete deles é um pouco alto, 20 dólares, então decidi comprar algo mais para "compartilhar" o frete, então também comprei minha primeira folha de bordo, talvez um post para a próxima vez. Comprei como pré-venda, então foi enviado apenas na semana seguinte, como prometido. A moeda custou um total de CAD$39,48, que é o preço regular de uma moeda de prata de 1 onça por aqui. Foi uma boa experiência comprar lá, você pode pagar diretamente como qualquer outra conta de serviço, o que economiza mais dinheiro do que no cartão de crédito. E o envio foi tão rápido que fiquei surpreso com a entrega antes mesmo de eles dizerem que haviam enviado, haha. Recebi na sexta-feira, no mesmo dia em que prometeram enviar, eles enviaram no dia anterior e o e-mail sobre o envio chegou na sexta à noite, quando eu já tinha a peça comigo.

  É interessante como a cultura chinesa influenciou todos os países e, o tempo todo, outros países homenageiam a cultura com um animal que representa um ano específico. O ano do Dragão vai começar em 2024, durante o Ano Novo Chinês em fevereiro. Então todas as casas da moeda estão lançando moedas "Dragão" agora. Acabei de ler que o Dragão representa sorte e força no zodíaco chinês. Interessante que o Dragão é o único "animal" criptozoológico do zodíaco. Mas ainda assim é um "animal" que me encanta em filmes ou livros de fantasia. Outra coisa que está ligada ao animal é o tipo de elemento. Geralmente, existem cinco elementos associados: Água, Madeira, Metal, Fogo e Terra. No caso do próximo ano, será o elemento Madeira. Interessante que acabei de perceber que o ano em que nasci também foi um ano "de Madeira", mas sou um rato de Madeira, acho os dragões mais legais, mas é o que é. A moeda em si é linda, acho que 1 onça de prata é o tamanho perfeito para sentir as propriedades da prata. Apesar de a maioria da minha prata ter cerca de 1/4 de onça devido ao preço. Gostaria de ter mais moedas de 1 onça, muitas delas nas lojas querem ser compradas por mim, mas meu orçamento continua me lembrando que não posso. Pelo menos consegui uma moeda da Asahi, uma linda moeda com um dragão e uma árvore de cipreste.
