THANALORIAN SCION

Good morning fellow warriors! How is the season going? I just want to quickly share this featured card I rented some days ago and the glints have been pouring in non-stop since I started featuring her in battles. It is no other card than the fearless Thanalorian Scion. From Rebellion, an epic water unit.It has won me more than 15 battles this season in modern ranked.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

Featured card

It is a rare water unit,that cost 5 mana,+1speed,+1magic attack,+1 health and a massive armor of +10 at level1.
At level1,It has the void armor ability( magic damage hits armor, before health) and the corrosive ward ability( deals -2 to attackers maximum armor, when hit by a melee attack) respectively. In most battles, magic attack monsters must go through this massive armor, before getting to its health.
At Maximum Level (6),It gains another ability called the true strike(attack would never miss), with an increase in its armor of +11and a magic attack of +3
Market Value*
This card has a market value of $24 in regular foil at Max. level and a whooping $45 in gold variant at Max level as well.

BATTLE:
Rulesets, battle & plan
Brute Force ruleset prioritizes monsters by their attack stat for turn order, highest attack acts first across all cards, ignoring speed.Winning requires stacking high-attack monsters to seize early control while countering opponents' aggressive setups.
In Brute Force, where turn order follows highest attack across all cards, strikes first among many matchups, nullifying melee damage and debuffing enemy armor on contact, crippling aggressive rushes before they ramp up.

In this battle, the total mana cost was 29.My Archon was MARLAI SINGARIEL for +1magic attack to all allied units, while my tank was Thanalorian Scion for its void armor ability and a massive armor, making it a strong fit for the brute force rulesets. It was followed by Halfling Refugee, standby tank with weary, while Arachne Skinwalker and Captain Fellblade completed my deck to keep others alive.
Round 1
We started equally, but my opponent struck first because according to the rulesets, units with high attacking power strike first.Scion took 4 solid hit before the end of this round. But its armor and its corrosive ward ability were key that my other monsters leverage on to do the main damage.

Round 2
When It was my turn,my opponent lost his tank and a monster, all thanks to the foundation Scion had laid down the hit it took and at the same time dishing out corrosive ward to melee attacks. And there's the effect of zap on my opponent own units anytime, shock trooper attacks which was an advantage to me.
ZAPPED EFFECT FROM SHOCK TROOPER (-1) health.

Round 3
In this round,I already had the advantage, his remaining unit just have one health and it was 2 against 1 already.I won at the end.

Conclusion;
Like I said earlier, this new season,THANALORIAN SCION,has won several battles for me,using it as the main tank in MODERN RANKED.
