Good morning, warriors! Happy Sunday! It’s @zusi78 back again. πŸ”₯

Two days ago, I shared a post about two powerful monsters I added to my deck collection, both featuring the Corrupted Healing ability. They are the Inept Healer and the Arachne Weaver. These units have been incredible at sustaining the life of my allied creatures β€” especially my high-mana dragon β€” during those intense, high-stakes battles.

Today, I’m excited to share four intense, epic battles where this Corrupted Healing ability truly shined. The way these monsters kept my team alive and turned the tide of combat was absolutely game-changing!

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! πŸ”₯.

Let me disect and showcase the Ability called CORRUPTED HEALING.

Corrupted Healing is a special superpower ability in the game Splinterlands. It belongs to certain monster cards (like the Inept Healer and Arachne Weaver).

I'll explain it step by step, like telling a story to a young friend who loves monsters and battles.
Every round (turn) in a battle, this ability heals (makes healthier) all your other friendly monsters by giving them back a big chunk of their health.
But here's the "corrupted" (tricky/sneaky) part: every time a monster gets healed by this power, it becomes a tiny bit weaker forever β€” its maximum health (the highest health it can ever have) goes down by 1 point.
It's like giving your friends a powerful magic potion that fixes them up right now, but each sip makes their body a little smaller over time.

Now, Let's Break It Down Really Slowly and Thoroughly.
What Happens Each Round?
At the start of every round (or whenever the ability triggers), the monster with Corrupted Healing looks at all its teammates (allied units).
It does NOT heal itself β€” only the others.
For each teammate that is hurt (has less than full health), it restores 70% of their current maximum health, rounded down.

The "Corrupted" Cost (The Tricky Part)
Every single time a monster receives this healing, its maximum health drops by 1.
This is permanent for that battle (until the monster dies or the battle ends).
So the more times a monster gets healed, the lower its max health becomes. Eventually, it gets "crippled" a bit β€” it can't get as healthy as before.Full health monsters are safe: If a monster is already at 100% health, nothing happens β€” no healing and no max health reduction.

Imagine you have:
A big strong Dragon with 20 max health. It's down to 5 health β€” almost dead!
Your Arachne Weaver (the spider healer) has Corrupted Healing.
What happens?
The Weaver heals the Dragon: 70% of 20 = 14 health. The Dragon jumps up to 14+ health.
But now the Dragon's new max health is 19 (it lost 1).
Next round, the Dragon gets hit again. The Weaver heals it again: 70% of the new max (19) β‰ˆ 13. Dragon gets healed, but max health drops to 18.
And so on...

The Dragon stays alive much longer thanks to big heals, even though it slowly gets a little weaker overall. In a short battle, it's amazing. In a super long battle, the max health loss adds up, so you have to play smart!
Extra Tips for Understanding
Think of it like a band-aid that also makes you a tiny bit smaller each time you use it.
It's a team support ability β€” perfect for keeping your whole army going, especially your strongest monsters like dragons.
The monsters with this ability (like Inept Healer and Arachne Weaver) are epic cards and shine in long, high-mana fights.

This ability is "corrupted" because the healing comes with a price β€” it's strong but not free forever. That's what makes Splinterlands battles so strategic and fun!

Let’s see it in action in real #Splinterlands battles, as explained above:

CORRUPTED HEALING ABILITY BY INEPT HEALER.
For this post not to be too long, I would display when the ability was triggered and what happened.

My summoner is Nidhoggr, while my opponent settled for dragonlord mancer. At the start of this round,My tank health was +7.

Now here you can see that its health has been reduced to +2, because my opponent was attacking.
Inept Healer, performing its first corruption healing on my tank.

Health restored to +6 from +7 like I explained.
Second corruption healing and note that it is only performed on my tank because my rest units health are still hundred percent intact.

Health restored to +5,and this is how it would continue till a winner emerges.

CORRUPTED HEALING ABILITY BY ARACHNE WEAVER.

Just like Inept Healer, Arachne Weaver did the same,it is just that my Arachne Weaver has scarvenger ability as well.

Why Is This Powerful in Battles?
In long, tough fights (especially high-mana battles with big dragons), your team gets hit a lot.
This ability gives massive team-wide healing every round β€” it can keep many monsters alive longer.
It's great when enemies use poison or other damage-over-time effects, because you can keep topping up health.
The "cost" (losing 1 max health per heal) is worth it, if it helps you win the whole battle!
