Good morning, Splinterlands fam! Welcome to my blog — I’m @zusi78. One season ended and another has begun, and I’m feeling very satisfied. This season I earned a total of 103,922 end-of-season Glints from both Survival and Modern ranked battles — much better than last season.I came ninety-first(91st) position with a rating of 3,280 on the leaderboard position in modern ranked and fifth (5th) position with a rating of 2,000 on the leaderboard in Survival II.

In addition,it was the season I unlocked Diamond 💎 I for the first time ever in modern ranked battles.And from the above dashboard you can see my win rate was 51% in modern ranked and 88.5% in Survival bracket II. I'm so glad with the extra glints I got from playing survival(25,000),it really boosted my glints collection.
As for my Glints, I have a lot I could do with them. Or I could simply hold onto them and go for one more season to earn even more — either way, the choice is mine. You might be wondering why the push for more glints by players! This is what you can actually purchase with the glints you have acquired over time 👇

Splinterlands is no walk in the park,but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

SPENDING MY GLINTS :103,992
I bought 20 rare cards from the rare draws,4 epic cards from the epic draws and one minor chest as shown in the table above.I spent the remaining balance on purchasing alchemy and legendary portions.The minor chest was an entry draw.
This is what I got after opening the epic cards;
I'm not that impressed with the card reveal. There was no gold foil, nor even Voss or Kazira Vaelstrik, which I still need to complete my entire epic collection. After spending so much on Alchemy and Legendary portions, it's a bit disappointing. That said, it's good enough—my Tandi Janda is now upgraded to level 2. I'll still keep buying epic cards from the epic rarity draw with glint collected after each season, mainly for Kazira Vaelstrik and Voss, so I can finally finish my epic collection.
As for the 20 rare cards, It was only Surgehammer that got upgraded to level 4.
Moving forward I equally opened the remaining foundation packs,3 in total and gotten from frontier ranked battles using the mana well.So I would get a total of fifteen (15) foundation cards after opening each pack.

The beauty of playing Frontier Ranked battles at higher levels is that each pack you get contains five (5) Foundation cards. Since 90% of my Foundation cards are already maxed out, I upgrade these extra Archons and units across the elements to a certain extent and sell them for DEC. I then use that DEC to rent, purchase, or upgrade other cards. It's a cool little business!
It was a very satisfying season, I must admit. See you on the battlefield — I'll be back for more updates!
